Looked at both these and the Frye boots at a much higher price and based on the reviews decided to go with the Durangos. It was an excellent choice, because these are great boots! They look and feel great. The reviewers that talk about going down a half-size from your regular shoe are dead on...I probably could have gone down yet another half-size, but Durango says that a little slippage at the beginning is normal, and another half-size might be a tad snug. As long as they hold up, I am very happy with this boot!

I bought these for my husband for Valentines Day. Not too romantic, but he loves them. He felt like they ran a bit wide. Not enough struggling to get on like he is used to with other boots. But overall, great style and comfort. Lots of compliments.

I can't say enough about how much I like these boots. Comfortable from the first try-on. Tough and decent weight, not some flimsy wanna-be boots. Exactly what I wanted for riding. Well worth the money. I'll seriously consider another pair if these ever wear out. Great boots!

These are awesome! They get scuffed up a little easier than I would like, but they are extremely comfortable. I love these boots. Ordered an 11, which I normally wear, but they were too big, so I exchanged for a 10.5 and they fit perfectly. So I\'d order a half size smaller than you think you would wear.

I've made a number of purchases over the last two years from Zappos and I don't have a bad thing to say about them. Everything I've ordered has been of the quality that was expected or better and even the one return I had to make (I ordered the wrong size) was handled quickly and efficiently. Recently, I purchased a pair of Durango boots. I gotta say that after seeing this product I may never look at another super expensive brand again. These boots are every bit as good as a pair of $300-$400 boots (I own those too, folks) and every bit as comfortable. If they hold up for at least 5 years, I'll be a customer for life.

Great Boots! This is my 3rd pair of this type of Durango boot, one in all 3 colors. This boot had never failed to disappoint. I have the heal tap replaced once a month and I still have no ware on the heel. Great comfortable boot with no break in time. Buy them you won't regret it.

My favorite boots!! Going on three years, the leather is butter soft, they feel like slippers and take a beating!! The sizing is right on and I highly recommend them!! As with anything else, I am buying another pair before they discontinue them!!

Great first boot - I finally pulled the trigger on buying my first pair of boots, and I am not disappointed. I am a 13 and I have a fairly wide foot. The size 13 was a perfect fit for me, so it's possible that it could be a little wide for some people. The soft leather doesn't need breaking in. I'd definitely buy another pair.

A beautiful boot, and a great value. However, my boot felt big on day one, but the instructions from the manufacturer said don't worry "Heel slippage is normal". Well, it never went away, and now I have to wear this boot with very thick socks which restricts this to a winter only boot.
