I ordered these shoes for my 13 year old son. He wears an 11 4E shoe. He is so hard to fit that I decided to try Zappos rather than run around to shoe stores. He slipped these shoes on his feet and said that these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! It was nice to take him to a formal event and not have him complain about his feet hurting.

This is a great everyday slacks-casual shoe for anyone with flat and wide feet. If you do, then you know that finding a shoe with no arch is perfect. Although, I did replace the inserts with my preferred brand. I liked the Winchester enough to buy them in both black and brown.

Other than requiring a little break in for the heel to conform better to my foot, these are very comfortable. It's hard for me to find narrow shoes, and these are great!

The shoe looks terrific. Wearing it is another story. The sole is hard and inflexible. And the heel has a slight negative inclination, meaning it's lower than the front sole. Maybe my feet are sensitive, but after 8 hours, I was in hell. My calcaneus and my metatarsal were killing me, as well as my fibularis longus. My whole body was in pain. Took several alternate wearing sessions to tame the beast. I must be insane to try and tame these shoes, but after paying a pretty penny, I didn't feel like quitting. They now serve a limited purpose.
