Overall:

This is a good shoe. The leather rips slightly quickly, and the sole wears down a little fast. But it skates wonderfully. There is almost no break in period. This is a perfect shoe for hard skating.

I love these pair of shoes! I was looking for girl skate shoes, preferably in aqua color, but the only ones I found were DC shoes that weren't very appealing. I looked under the men's shoe category and I found these lovelies! They arrived almost a week after I had ordered them so I was a little put off by that, but when I opened the box I was amazed. The colors are so lively and bright. I just love them. It's a little bit big in the heel and ankle area but that's mostly because men's shoes are made wider than woman's shoes. Overall this is an amazing shoe!

I stumbled onto this brand because I need shoes/sneakers with arch support. The Duffs' "Stroke" sneaker right out of the box looked great/well made. I liked the wide profile and solid rubber sole. The logo is very big, but does not feel showy or prominent. And lo and behold! There was a good arch inside. (The insole is removable, so if you have your own, albeit narrow orthodic, you can use it with these.) The sneakers come with 2 sets of laces, and a carry bag. They are marketed to skater kids, but don't let that fool you. These are very well made and great on the foot. They feel snug and stable. And the arch holds you up. I don't think all Duffs offer arch support, but this sneaker is all I need.

At first the shoe was too tight/small. Feels about a half size too small, but they eventually stretch. These shoes are perfect except for the sole. I've skated this shoe for 4 days and it’s about worn through, already smooth. The suede is fine since you can always patch it up with shoe goo. Before this pair I was skating the Duffs 4130 lows (which are a BMX shoe) and they lasted me a month and a half and just started to smooth out. Good shoe, bad sole.

Comfortable, but buy a half size bigger. They’re a little tight, but do eventually loosen up. The suede holds nicely, but the sole (same as the Gamblers) does wear down really fast. Been skating them three days now and its already smoothing out. Good shoe, but would not buy again, the Barlettas were much better.

DuFFs Gambler II - I got these shoes in Red/White, they're really comfortable and look great. I was surprised at the amount of boardfeel they have because they have a cupsole. They also have amazing grip, but tear a little easy, but shoe goo fixes them up really nicely.

Great shoe. I skate everyday and with shoe goo there haven't been any holes. The bottoms are now flat so I am now forced to purchase another pair of Duffs which I am not complaining about, I actually bought two pair of the Gamblers and the Barlettas. Only thing I didn't like about these shoes were the insoles. They weren't as thick as the ones in my Barlettas but I just switched them out. If you are looking to skate I would recommend the Barlettas (the bottoms seemed to have lasted longer and did not get flimsy) but either way the Gamblers are a great shoe.

First off, this is probably my favorite shoe right now. I got a pair in black/white and a pair in green/white. I liked them that much. Since both shoes are the same I will say that if you decide to get the green/white pair (highly recommended) don't be surprised when you get them. These shoes are GREEEEEN! Like green, green. Absolutely awesome. You'll have to take care of the green a bit more than the black because of the suede. And being green you'll notice anything on them. But that comes with the territory. They are not too bad with comfort, I wear both of them loose, they aren't snug. Not much arch support. But you just cannot beat the looks. I'll keep buying these shoes for a while!!! Very happy with both pairs.

Great shoes - I bought the black/white duffs gambler about 2 years ago off here and they have been through skate wear and tear/sand/snow and have become my favorite shoes because they just are built to last. They are very comfortable, but if you skate with these, often the stitching will become loose and open the side… so make sure to get some shoe glue.

First Pair!!!I was browsing Zappos.com and came by this shoe. I've never heard of it. I loved the way these looked, the color options, and after reading the reviews I ordered a pair. I LOVE THESE SHOES!!! They feel great, fit perfectly, and look awesome. I got a pair in black and I’m ordering a pair in green too!!! Arch support’s a little small. That’s my only slightly negative comment. Otherwise, these are awesome!!!

AMAZING - This shoe is fantastic.At first I got a pair of gamblers from my friend because I needed shoes(They had zebra print on them.) And they were fallen apart but they were still fantastic.The most comfortable shoes to skate in.Very supportiveand good grip.

Great looks but uncomfortable - This was my second pair of Gamblers. Love the color choices available. I didn't realize that these were actually the gambler 2. The gambler 1 was very comfortable, but I thought these ones were terrible. I found very little arch support and thought they could use a lot more padding on the ball of the foot. They were unwearable for me until I got inserts. Good luck.

Gambler II - I love these shoes! I have a pair in red and a pair in green. I use these shoes to long board and just out and about. They are so comfortable! I have very high arches and I'm always looking for skate shoes that have a little more support. I usually wear these, over my other skate shoes due to comfort and support. They look great with jeans or shorts and easy to keep clean as well.

Great shoe, somewhat comfortable - Comfy from the heel to the arch, rather thin toe support. Hurts to walk a lot, but hopefully an athletic insert will help.

Wow - These shoes are great. Ordered the green ones, and I haven’t stopped getting compliments on them. They are VERY green tho, the picture on the website doesn’t really do them justice. The only thing about them, and as no fault of the manufacturer, is they are a BEAST to keep clean. But if you've ever owned a pair of suede shoes, you know this comes with the territory...

$$Money$$I just received the Gambler II today is green suede. I got them in less than 24 hours! Very impressive. The green color is tight, it looks better than the photo! These shoes are EXTREMELY comfortable; they feel almost like wearing socks. My only complaint is that my heel kind of slips out easily, just make sure you lace them up tight enough. They do feel a little narrow, but I think I just have wide feet. Overall a great shoe. I will definitely order from Zappos again. Thank you Zappos & DuFFS!

The world's most comfortable shoes ever - Before I had DuFFS, I had a pair of Ipath Grasshoppers. They were comfortable, but not as near as much as the DuFFS. I've had the shoes for over six months and I’ve worn them almost every day. They are the coolest shoes ever invented.

Ordering my third pair- in four years-Never had one pair of these shoes fall apart- they are suede which requires special attention- but my second pair lasted me two years and the only issues with them now is that they are worn out! They still have plenty of grip left and no part of the shoe is coming apart however the comfort level of the shoe has fallen drastically from when I first purchased them. But two years is the longest any tennis shoe I ever owned lasted so all in all I say these shoes rock- and I hope they never stop selling them!

These shoes are more comfortable the longer I wear them - I’ve been wearing these for more than a year, almost every day. They show very little wear and are more comfortable than the day I got them in the mail.

Wow!!!These shoes rock. They skate really good. They have a good feeling off bike jumps, too. I love them a lot. They look great, feel great and overall they are awesome.
