Very handsome shoe. Nice suede with a good shape and plenty of toe room. Did I say comfortable? The best feature of all is that they are very comfortable which is the most important thing to me.

Wore down way too fast. These are so nice looking on and are very comfortable to wear initially. They grip your heel like a regular shoe, which is what I was looking for. But, after daily wear to the office for about a month, the sole began to wear funny causing my foot to walk crooked. I know I don't walk perfectly, but I've never had any other shoe do this, except a pair of 10 year old boots I once had. And, it happened to both pairs I bought, brown and black. The upsetting thing is that their 'look' is perfect! 'Just not as sturdy as they could've been.

Great, comfortable shoe!
These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have worn them to work nearly every day for a year and they have held up great. I am considering another color.

These were very comfortable from the start, but I also noticed my outer big toe (on both feet) rubbing against the inside of the shoe, after a few days of wearing them with thick socks the leather must have stretched because they are now the most comfortable shoes I own with no more toe rubbing. I would certainly buy another pair in a different color.

The winning Dansko clog alternative -
After owning several pairs of Dansko shoes, I'm delighted with this version of the "Professional". It's lighter in weight and has more cushion in the footbed -- so makes a more comfortable walking shoe. First day I wore them for a 2 mile walk and there was no breaking-in time. Also, the more tapered upper is a little more streamlined and less clunky looking than the Dansko. The quality is good and at half the price of the Dansko clog, I'm thinking of buying a second pair. I know I'll be wearing these daily.

Work Shoes - I wait tables and buy these shoes for that purpose. The floor at work is hard and after running around on it for hours my back hurts. These shoes help with that. They're my second pair and hold up fairly well considering the abuse they're put through. Not the most stylish shoe, although I do wear them outside of work occasionally, but they are very comfy.

I find these shoes to be very comfortable. Working on my feet most of the day, I need something that gives me a good arch support. This shoe hits the mark.

Hmmm... not great quality -
Revising my review below because the soles of these are cracked straight across after only 2 1/2 months of wear. The right shoe has also worn unevenly so they're no longer comfortable- I'm going to have to retire them already. I guess I got what I paid for.

Comfy but not at all cute...
I wanted a shoe I could wear to work at the hospital but wanted to be stylish as well. The feel was comfy and the heel gave it a little height. Unfortunately, I found it to be unflattering at all. This shoe is probably better off for someone who just wants a simple shoe without making a fashion statement.

Love the Danis -
I have looked all over for the Duck Head Dani as I have almost worn out the first pair I bought. I lucked out in finding them at Zappos as the store I bought them at doesn't have them anymore. I bought the brown nubuck and the black leather and they both are just what I want in fit and comfort! I have tried other brands in this style, but the Duck Heads fit my foot the best.

Really comfy shoe -
I got these 3 days ago thanks to Zappos awesome service and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. I almost wanted to return them because I don't think they're all that cute on their own, but they go great with jeans and the comfort factor can't be beat. I highly recommend these! The inside is soft and cushioning, but not too soft because they have great support. They had no break-in time. I might get these in another color...

Comfort and Looks -
I have 5 pairs of Dansko shoes which I dearly love. However, the last pair I ordered did not fit. The Duck Head footwear looked very similar and was about on half the price so thought I would give them a try. They are wonderful! Am going to get more in different colors. Great look, great value. Zappos is where I order all my shoes. Neat purses also. :o)

I plan to return these -
I bought these shoes after suffering a foot/ankle injury. I was in the need of comfortable shoes and these got great reviews. I was willing to give them a shot even tho they aren't that cute. Well, they are slightly less cute in person and are NOT comfy. They are a little shorter/smaller than I thought they'd be and I felt unsteady on my ankles - which swelled after wearing them.

I am a big fan of European comfort shoes, and these are a great alternative and less expensive too. They also have a taller profile like the other brand which is nice.

This is the best purchase in this entire year!
These shoes are AWESOME! They look good… they fit good and I'm glad I decided to order my actual size… with the other pair I had - they were way more expensive and my true size was too small! I had to return them for a bigger size. That was such a hassle in itself! Not even a year later, the bottoms broke right in half! These are true to size and I can even wear socks with them and that is an awesome thing. This pair of shoes way surpass the other in style, fit, and construction. Get them if you’re thinking about it, you will not be sorry!
