I bought these shoes for my 90 year old mother, who lives in an assisted living facility and uses a walker. She can't get out to stores to shop, so I wanted to be able to take advantage of Zappos return policy if the shoes didn't fit. The shoes did fit and my mom is delighted with them. They were cheaper than a comparable brand in a store in Manhattan, where I live, and the store had a much less lenient return policy (3 days).

Drew Paradise II - This is a wonderful shoe. It did seem a size larger than what I normally wear (6), bought a (5) and it fit. Zappos was great with my return. The shoes arrived sooner than I expected as well. I buy all my shoes from Zappos only. I have EEE width. Their shoes are of great quality, too.

casual and practical - Love this shoe, I have not worn real shoes in 20 years. I have been able to wear my Birk's but now in my retirement job real shoes are required and I am on my feet for 8 hours at a time. Being a diabetic it is all about the feet and these shoes are great comfy, roomy, and a perfect fit. The only real shoes I would wear. No pinching, not the most attractive shoes but then fit and comfort is what it is about and I would buy them again.

Very happy with the shoes and experience - I purchased these shoes for my mother. She said they were very comfortable from the moment she put them on and appreciated the velcro closing since laces come untied so easily. She is most interested in comfort and not having the latest styles. We were amazed at the quick delivery and nice packaging. We will order again.

AHHhhhhhh... at last!! My feet are thanking me for buying these shoes!! I have W-I-D-E feet and frequently have trouble finding comfortable shoes. THANK GOODNESS FOR ZAPPOS. I can finally buy W-I-D-E sizes and good looking styles.

Great Shoe - Very easy to adjust and gives great support to my foot. Great arch support. My foot swells and the velcro straps are very easy to adjust. The shoes have ample room to accommodate my swelling toes and feet. I wear compression hose, which tend to make my feet sweat. The leather breathes and it's most comfortable. The rubber sole is also great! No slipping, which is a big plus for me, as I'm in my 70's.

This shoe is firm and sturdy, and it has a lot of adjustment features...as with the extra depth and the two removable/changeable inner soles. The leather is firm which is good for preventing pronation. The one drawback I found was that the toe narrows down a bit, and I think it could be improved with a slightly more squared-off toe box. In my correct size, it does work, because the toe box itself is plenty roomy. I wear size 8 in most shoes, and this 8 was correct for me. I also would like this in a laced model - better than velcro, I believe.

Navy, please. This is fairly comfortable considering that my feet are deformed and I have arthritic pain. I wish it were available in navy blue also.

Basically a good shoe - This shoe is basically comfortable. I think it could be wider (I ordered wide and still could use wider, which is unusual). The shoe comes up too far on the ankle and hurts my ankle some times, and that's with all the inserts in the shoe. Also, the bottoms are a little slippery especially on carpet, which seems like a bad idea for an orthopedic shoe. But I can wear them all day without my feet hurting which is great. Good support even for my high arches. This shoe is MUCH better than most, but could be even better!

Comfort without the hassle. I purchased this shoe because it came in a wide width. It felt wider than the size. The shoe is very comfortable, and I do not have the hassle of my shoe strings coming loose. I will probably buy another pair in a different color.

Not quite deep enough midfoot- distal toe space good - I ordered this shoe for my patient who has edematous feet as well as a bunion on one foot. She wears an AFO. I found that the toe space is good, deep, but that the midfoot depth is not quite big enough to accommodate her AFO brace and moderately swollen foot. The seam hits right on her bunion as well. Wish the straps were longer, can just barely touch them to hook it. Nice looking shoe however, feels sturdy and the leather is nice. Just need more depth, width was a little under what I expected for a 3 E shoe also. Length is true to size.

Brands I'd also recommend: For nurses, you can't go wrong with Brooks. Best shoe ever.
