It is a very good shoe but a bit clunky for me. It is quite deep, so it would accommodate orthotics if needed.

Fabulous shoe right out of the box. Fit my orthodics perfectly. My feet stay cool and dry all day. Best shoe ever.

I just don't understand why these shoes don't fit my feet. They are long enough and wide enough, my heel doesn't slip when I walk, but my big toes seem to rub against the side of the shoe when I walk. These are well made, nice looking shoes, just not the right fit for me.

Horrible. They do not breathe whatsoever. By the end of a work day my feet are wrinkled like a prune as if I've been in a bathtub all day. Not real comfortable either. The leather is not durable at all, showing scuff marks immediately. The worst boots I've ever bought, and were as expensive as red wings. Do not buy these! I would buy another different pair of boots if I hadn't spent so much money on these and been broke from it. I just have to suffer now!

These were purchased for my mom who is using orthotics to manage neuropathy in her feet. She wanted something pretty to wear to a wedding and these were just perfect. Size and width is true. The sandal is deep enough to hold a sturdy orthotic.

I purchased these shoes for my 93 year old mother. They were comfortable for her as soon as she put them on. The fit was true to size and the quality was what I had hoped for. The Velcro closing is a convenient feature for both mom and her caretaker in her assisted living home.

Shoe is true to size and very comfortable. There was no "breaking in" period. It is an excellent walking shoe, just cushions your foot.

Imagine my surprise to find a boot in my actual width! Not only that, but it is available through Zappos, not New Balance, which has been keeping me in freakishly wide shoes for more than a decade. But New Balance doesn't have boots in my true width. Zappos has my business for the rest of my life!

Wide was truly wide and this shoe was very tall so orthotics fit easily. This shoe has an orthopedic look. I'd wear it if nothing else fit but I'd feel like an older lady wearing this with my pencil skirts and suits.

The shoe is a little heavy. The toe box is nice and fit my foot perfectly. The heel is too big. There is no way enough padding or other accommodations could be made to get the heel to fit. Too bad. Nice shoe.

This shoe in 9W is true to size and generous in a wide width. I usually have to order up a half size for shoes in medium widths. When I first received the shoe, I tried it with the bottom insert only. There was too much toe room and rubbing. I tried it with both inserts and that felt better, allowing my toes to stay in place, but still have some wiggle room. The shoe is smart looking like a upscale sneaker and a lot more substantial in quality and weight. It is a little bit stiff and heavy which I hope will become more flexible with wear. I have the black model and it goes with everything with spiffy gold shoestrings. I think this is a substantial shoe that will last in the long run.

This shoe looked exactly like the one I wanted but I was sorely disappointed when I got it. To begin with it's a very heavy shoe; weighs a lot. It was not only too short for my foot but also too narrow. I'd probably have to order a full size larger. I'm rating the shoe 3 star because the style is nice looking.

Having broken a toe exercising while wearing a light dance type shoe, I was searching a wider toe box, somewhat reduced flexibility in the upper sole, but with good cushioning all over. This shoe has been perfect.

I was not sure if I would like these, but I really do! They are very comfortable (I got a wide width) and easy to throw on to walk the dog. They provide secure support when walking, don't flap on and off, and don't rub my heel! The only negative is that they feel very warm - I kick them off when I'm sitting down and put them back on when I'm ready to take off again. So, not perfect, but pretty good!

These are beautiful shoes, and the specs say they will fit prescribed orthotics. I have custom orthotics and they did not fit. My orthotics slopped in the heel and were taller than the bed. provided. The front didn't accommodate the shape of my orthotic at all either I'm disappointed and don't understand what they're talking about. Difficult to give a review. Nice shoes, but won't work for me at all.

I've done quite a lot of walking the last 2 years on my city's new trails, and the result has been very painful bunions! The problem is exacerbated by most shoe styles, which have a seam on the side in the exact place where the bunions are. But these shoes have no side seam, are comfortable for walking (my max is 2 hours)and, though pricey, enable me to walk pain-free!

They fit very well, were wide enough for my EE foot. Love the rounded toe. Plenty of room in the toe box. Very cute too. Sadly, I had to reluctantly return them because they have no arch. In fact, it feels like there is a slight arch on the outside of the foot instead of the inside. Not cushioned either.

The footbed of these shoes is extremely wide, if you need wide shoes then the shoes look even wider on the bottom. That is a strange design.

My feet do not hurt in these shoes. I have severe arthritis need a big box toe and high arches. These shoes felt good right out of box. The foot is cushioned. They are heavy but I will live with that for the comfort. I am a walker and have given up my other brands for this shoe.

These are actually very cute shoes, but they run short as my large toe was just barely over the very front of the shoe. And I have short toes! I am so disappointed that I must return them. I will still rate them highly, though, because I think they are good sandals. This is the first time that I have ever had to return anything to Zappos.
