Drew Reviews
This shoe is such a find. I have inflamed sesamoids in the ball of my foot and arthritis in the big toe joint. The stiffness of the sole protects the toe joint from bending and hurting. I thought I would be removing the footbed and using my own orthotic. However, I think I will do just fine with the shoes' own footbed. The ball of my foot sinks down enough that the sesamoids are not getting too much pressure. I can hardly believe this as I have been searching for years for a shoe that will take care of both these problems! And all leather - thank you Drew, and Zappos for allowing me to try so many brands. Oh, and I usually wear a 10 1/2 and in this shoe the 10 is a perfect fit. I had just about given up hope that I would ever walk without pain again. Drew Dora is not too bad looking - pretty much like a Birkenstock.
I teach fifth grade, and my knees were hurting so badly I could not keep up with those 26 ten-year olds. No shoes helped until I bought these Drews. The improvement was instantaneous, and I have worn them to school every day for the last three years. Knee pain is gone! Love those Drews!
This is a very comfortable shoe. I wear them all day long at work with no discomfort. I have a bunion, high arch and very wide feet. This shoe has a big toe box and is deep enough you could easily add an orthotic or other insert. If you have a hard time finding a shoe to fit - make sure this one is on your list to try.
I love these shoes! They are great for problem feet - mine are wide, with a fallen arch and Morton's neuroma on one foot. These have moderate arches, but I put my own orthotics in them. And the footbed is deep enough, so that I don't have to remove the soft insert that the shoe comes with. The soles are squishy, and the interior fabric is soft and smooth. The seams are comfortable. I am so pleased with these shoes! The only drawback is that they are somewhat heavy, but that is so the shoe can offer better support. The shoes take a beating so your feet don't have to! Order down half a size - I take a 9 Wide, but these fit great in a 8.5 Wide.
I wanted to like this shoe, but the seams near the bunions and small toes were very uncomfortable. Also, the soles are a little too thin and not squishy or supportive enough. These are going back.
This is the best boot I have ever owned. I have a short, wide foot (5.5 D). They fit perfectly, are completely water proof and warm! No special socks required! The second day I owned them I went on a 2 mile hike on a snowy, wooded path. I'm so happy with their performance, I bought another pair.
These shoes are stylish but practical. They can have orthotics put in easily. The fit was great. All in all very satisfied!
My shoes arrived this morning as I was getting ready for work...just thought I'd look at them. Then tried one on and then the other...never before have I been able to put on a shoe, have it feel wonderful from that first minute. So I decided to wear them to work...they feel fantastic! This has never ever happened before. Drew you have one happy customer. I will save my pennies and by more! I have extra wide feet, bunions and have had a hip replacement...so I am always looking for a comfortable shoe...I've found it!
I love these shoes! I am flatfooted and have back problems. I thought I would be confined to athletic shoes. These are super comfy for my 8.5 Wide foot. I'll purchase a few more pairs! (After I get my job. Was laid off 5 months ago.
Runs really big! I'm usually a 6.5 and I ordered a 6.5 and a 6 and it's still too big. Returning both and trying a 5.5.
I had foot surgery and have been having a lot of difficulty finding a comfortable shoe that does not look ugly. These shoes feel wonderful with my orthotics. I can go all day and my feet are quite happy. These shoes look reasonably nice with pants. They don't make my feet look like boats. I just bought two more pairs in different colors.
My favorite shoe! Ordered a half size smaller than the Drew athletic shoes I had been wearing. Wear a thinner sock than before, shoe more dressy and lighter weight. Love them! Plenty of room for my orthodic.
Hate to return what seems to be a very accomodating shoe, but for me, the area under ankles seems too low and doesn't offer enough stablity to keep me from overpronating.
This shoe fit poorly and felt cheaply made. The strap sits at an odd angle. Honestly? Feels like a piece of crap from China.
These are not quite as attractive as they appear in the photo. One interesting thing, I have wide, short feet and these make your feet appear longer and narrower.
I love this shoe. I ordered a 7 1/2 EE instead of the 8 EE I wear in the Drew Motion. I wear thinner socks with this. It is comfortable, lightweight and not as klunky as the Motion. Feels more dressy.
These are insanely comfortable right out of the box. They have tons of support yet are very light. Basically better than barefoot! Worth every penny and I wish I'd ordered them sooner. I'll defiantly order more in different colors. I have a very wide foot and the wide width is perfect. I'm real glad I didn't get the extra wide.
When I finally found this style in my size I was thrilled amd bought a pair. I have huge knoby feet with bunions and was delighted to find they fit right out of the box. My delight turned to disappointment, however, when I discovered that the sole and construction is not that of a sneaker/fitness shoe with strap as I had imagined. Rather the sole/cushioning is almost as thin as a regular flat dress shoe.
