I bought these shoes to wear back and forth to work and then change into my heels at the office. I specifically wanted something comfortable for walking around the city and standing for a long time on the subway. I did have to break them in the first couple of times that I wore them, but now I completely love them! They are so comfortable and fairly stylish that I occasionally don\'t even put my heels on when I get to the office and wear these all day instead. I\'m even looking at getting other styles and colors.

I bought these shoes while I was having an absolute meltdown - I was walking in the city, and my feet felt like they were falling off. It was time. I bought my first pair of Dr. Scholls for the comfort, not for the style, but surprisingly I\'ve gotten many compliments on the shoes! I have them in black.

Nice shoe. I have boney feet so I've had to pad some of the edges to accommodate for my feet. Overall they are pretty comfortable. Good heel support. True to size.

Great flat!! When I read that Dr. Scholl's made this shoe I almost didn't purchase it because it reminded me of my Nana's shoes, but I am so happy I did. I received many compliments wearing it. This shoe didn't take long to break-in either. It felt a little tight around the sides of the palm of my feet at the opening of the shoe, but it didn't last long. So very comfortable to wear all day. It fits like a glove and would highly recommend this shoe for anyone.

I bought this shoe in two colors - I liked this shoe so much that I bought a second pair. It was immediately comfortable for a full day of work and I got lots of compliments from a range of co-workers. They have a lot more support than some flats.

All about Dr. Scholl's

The grandson of a shoemaker, William Mathias Scholl dedicated his life to revolutionary research on the "science of foot relief." His desire to create shoes that fit better, alleviate foot pain, and treat foot problems led him to groundbreaking research from which we still benefit from today.

After earning an MD from Illinois Medical College, now known as Loyola University, Dr. Scholl launched his own business as a manufacturer of orthopedic foot products. These products were his personal inventions, and many of them still help millions treat their feet right, even today.

The Original Dr. Scholl's Exercise Sandal was launched in the United States in 1968 with a remarkable impact. By the end of 1972, national sales had reached one million pairs. Designed with a raised toe crest to encourage a gripping action and shapely legs, this simple sandal's most outstanding feature is its wooden sole. It was this sole that influenced the chunky shoes and clogs so prevalent during the late '60s and early '70s.

The Original Dr. Scholl's Exercise Sandal from the 1960s and 70s returned to fashion again in the 90s, appearing on runways and fashion magazines. The design remained authentic then, as it is today, and continues as a fashion staple. Its sleek, architectural design complements all types of clothing.

Now a classic style, the Original Dr. Scholl's Exercise Sandal continues to be the favorite of fashion stylists, editors and movie stars.

Dr. Scholl's shoes, Dr. Scholl's sandals and Dr. Scholl's boots give a whole new meaning to retail therapy with comfort features that make you feel as good as you look. Dr. Scholl’s offers a wide selection of shoes, boots, sandals and heels that you can live in. Insoles are padded to keep you feeling crazy good all day long. Linings are plush and soft. Try on a pair of Original Dr. Scholl's® shoes and you'll truly know what it is to feel crazy good™.

I bought these shoes at a discount store in lower Manhattan and I thought they were soo cute. When I tried them on they seemed so comfortable, like I was walking on air. I was so excited to wear them the following Monday to work. Not even two hours into the day, my feet were killing me. I have wide feet and the shoes looked as though they accommodated that. My toes were cramped and the back of the shoe was rubbing against the back of my foot causing me to have to put bandaids on to continue through the day. Finally I gave in and went to a shoe store and bought some slip ons. I was so disappointed in these shoes b/c I really liked the way they looked on my feet. I will be returning them tomorrow.

Cute but not comfy - These shoes are really cute, but I can only wear them for a short time. After more than a couple hours of wear (even if sitting most of the time), the backs of the shoes tear up my heels.

Great little shoe - Very versatile and comfortable. Since I have a wide foot and need toe room, this particular shoe is perfect for me. I have a hard time finding a wide comfortable shoe with some arch support.

Crazy good! I have had to put my heels away due to an injury. I've been depressed over ugly shoe choices, but then I found these babies. I can walk in these all day and not have any pain - they are better than my Cole Haan w/ Nike Air. I'm stocking up!

Cut my heels - After 3 days of wearing them, they starting cutting into my heels. I have blisters and I am trying to return them. I love these shoes, but there is no way I can wear them. The front of the shoe is also very tight on the toes.

Zappos customer service can't be beat! I have been going crazy looking for flats that I can wear that have some support, are comfortable, versatile, and stylish. These shoes have filled the bill so far. They are for the most part comfortable, although, I did have to work on stretching the toe box, which ran a little small. That being said, I have been unable to wear what I consider cute and fashionable shoes for at least three years due to severe back and knee problems. These are comfortable enough that I have been able to wear them for the work day without any exacerbation of my condition. This is nice since I have been wearing the wider orthopedic shoes for so long (not exactly a fashion statement). If you don't mind your toes showing a little they are supportive enough to wear to work, shopping, etc. without being crippled at the end of the day. I have received many compliments on this shoe but feel that Dr. Scholl’s should be able to follow its name and make a shoe that is more supportive without break in adjustments. I love the shoe with almost anything I wear and can slip on and go. I have ordered an incredible amount of shoes to see what would be do-able for me over the past couple of months and Zappos and their customer service team can not be beat. Helpful, understanding reps, and their delivery and return policy are second to none. In my opinion there is no other way to shop for shoes. Being able to try on shoes at different times of the day, walk around on the carpet and have the chance to get a feel for the shoe without making a quick uninformed decision. Then later having to drive to a mall or store to make a return and stand in a customer service line, or even worse having clerks ignore you, will never be part of my shopping experience again. Thank you, thank you a million times over.

Ironically, these needed some Dr. Scholl's inserts! I got a few compliments on these shoes, despite the color being a little less vibrant than it looked online. The heels gave me blisters and I had to get inserts (made by Dr Scholl's) to keep them from slipping. I got blisters on the tops on my toes because of scrunching of my toes due to the heel inserts. I think the heel cup is just too deep. They are cute and I've decided to keep them (since I can't send them back now) and they've grown on me. I feel a little silly spending so much money and having to make so many accommodations for these shoes since they are made by a huge name in foot comfort.

If you have sensitive feet at all, particularly the back of your heel or your toes then DO NOT PURCHASE THESE SHOES! I bought them thinking that they would be comfortable and they have completely ripped apart the backs of my heels and toes. I have huge blisters. They are my perfect size and were very comfortable when I wore them in the store. After 3 blocks I was in terrible pain. Do not waste your money.

Great shoes if you're on your feet all day - These shoes are exactly what you would expect from Dr. Scholl's - extremely comfortable, if not the most stylish. They look cute, good basics, especially if you have to walk a lot.

Super comfortable shoe! I have a fairly wide foot that is hard to fit. This shoe is so comfortable right out of the box! It is great for walking and standing all day long.
