Where the classic 1460 style was being used by mailmen, union workers, and factory workers, it soon became popular among the masses. The 1460 continues to thrive, symbolizing individualism, originality, and taps into a individual's unique style who's willing to make that bold statement.
Dr. Martens doesn't think of itself as a "shoe" brand, but rather a way of thinking, a self-expression if you must. Popularly known as Doc Martens, they allow you to feel free to rock your grunge shorts, spike up your hair to the heavens, show off your body art, whatever floats your boat. So whether you call them Dr. Martens, Doc Martens or just Docs there are no limits to your creativity.

I love my collection of Dr. Martens and these are quickly becoming a favorite! Very pretty boot that fits well and is the envy of my coworkers. My only complaint are that the ribbon laces, while very pretty, are not at all practical and were a pain to pull out. Other than that I love this boot and wish it came in more colors!

These are the most beautiful boots ever! Too bad I got the wrong size since I was not paying attention to UK-US sizes. This is my second pair from the maker. This style is just as comfortable as the first pair, you can start wearing them non stop, your feet will love it!

These came to me 2 days after I ordered them and they're awesome! I ordered them on a Saturday and I got them on Monday. Great service! The quality of the boots are great and they fit nice. Really happy with my purchase. Thanks Zappos!

These boots are absolutely amazing! They are super comfortable and durable, Doc Martens last forever. The first night I wore them out I got so many compliments on them. They're some sexy boots! I would highly recommend this product to anybody.
I'd also recommend: Minnetonka, Woolrich and Ugg

Love these, so comfortable right out of the box and great looking. Love the ribbons. I usually wear a size 9, rarely a 9.5. Got these in a US size 9, and I'm pleased with the fit. Roomy enough to wear thick socks, a little big in thin socks but I just lace them up a little tighter.
