I've wanted a pair of velvet Docs for 15 years, so I snatched these right up. A little disappointed, because these look more like sneakers than traditional Doc boots, especially when on. Also, the eyelet placket on the right shoe was stitched on super crooked, so the tongue isn't centered & skews to the side. Still trying to decide if I'll keep them, wanted to wear them to work, but I don't think they'll pass dress code since they look like a velvet sneaker. Super cute anyways. And I had forgotten how comfy Docs are, and these don't have the usual break-in time of the leather styles. Yay!

I got these in black velvet. I was worried about whether or not I'd like the fabric of them, but I do, they turned out to be really cute and pretty low key. They fit me like I'd hoped, but are even more durable/bulky than I'd expected. The sole is really thick, and like most Dr. Marten's, you can tell they're well made. This is good for me since I live in a rainy climate. The heel is kind of stiff, but other than that they are pretty great overall. May take a little breaking in.

I love these sneakers. I have gotten compliments on them from both guys and girls with very different styles. They're cute with shorts, jeans, and short dresses and skirts. No arch support, but I have flat feet so whatever. At first when I put them on I thought they were too large, but as I walked in them I found them to be a really good fit. They lace tight enough so that they don't look too dorky/tightly laced but they stay on your ankles with room for your toes to wiggle.

I love these boots! The cherry velvet is so unique & got compliments on them pretty much every day. I'm not exaggerating. Just don't get them wet! Anti-water.

This shoe had a good price and looks pretty cool, but the tongue always slides into the shoe. I got the red ones, which look great except that the wide part of my foot hangs over the side of the sole a little bit, and you can see the outline of my pinkie toe through the shoe. Comfy yes, more than a regular Doc Martin. The soles are flat, more like Vans style, so they don't have the traditional Doc Martin sole.
