These boots combine comfort and style. They are just as nice looking as similar but dressier lace-up boots with stacked wood heels but offer traction on ice. The dark brown is a great color. My previous Dr. Martens lasted for years; I hope these will too.

I just received these today and put them on and love them. I have tried about 6 different lace up boots including Frye and am so happy that I finally found the one that works for my feet. I wear an 11 and have wide feet and there is room enough for a thin sock. I also love the eye hooks on top because it makes it easier to take the boot off and put them on. Really happy that I kept shopping until I found the one!

I am in love with these boots! My first thought when I took them out of the box was surprise at how light they were. The leather is extremely soft, and they did not need any breaking in time before they were comfortable. I would highly recommend these to anyone considering them.

Definitely more cheaply made than Docs of the past. The oxford styling around the toe is OK, but more of an upturn or even a square toe would have been cuter. Still, I wear them a lot, and they were comfortable from the beginning.

This is my first pair of Dr. Martens and I am hooked. These boots are amazing! Comfortable right out of the box, room for my toes, true to size, soft leather. No break in time! Definitely worth the price.

Very nice shoes. The uk 9 is a roomy us 11. The heel isn't too high. The leather is soft, so they will not last as long as other Doc Martens, so I am being careful not to wear them in the elements etc...but I am getting lots of compliments. Great with dresses or jeans. I love them!

These are the same size as my Doc Martens dress shoes, but they fit at least a whole size smaller. They are also a thinner leather than my other shoes. I got the other shoes at least 7/8 years ago. Good quality but not as good as my other pair. I will probably try them in a bigger size as they are a great style.

I don't usually write reviews on products, but these boots are so great that I have to tell someone. They're the most comfortable boots ever, and they look absolutely great. The heels are nice and solid but very light. The leather is super soft and felt like they've been worn for a while. I have to say the black leather looks more weathered than picture, but I like the look. If something happens to them, I'd definitely buy another pair immediately!

I am normally a 7.5 and the 7 fits perfectly (so I would recommend sizing down if you are between sizes). These are comfortable, the leather is very soft, quality looks good so far. The leather is "worn" looking (as in the pictures) so make sure that is the look you are going for.

I absolutely love these boots. I was a little hesitant to buy them as my understanding is that Doc Martens tend to weigh a bit (and I have bad knees). However, these boots are not heavy. They look great with long skirts and with jeans, and they are super comfortable (the leather is very soft). I love them so much I am going to buy another pair in a different color! I would also like to add that the staff at Zappos is amazing! They are friendly and professional, patient and accommodating. They are also very well-informed! Thanks so much for a great shopping experience. It will not be my last!

These are really great boots overall. I have wide feet but I always seem to have good luck with Dr. Martens. I do wish the heal was a bit higher and that they were a touch more feminine, but that is only a minor complaint. I have been wearing these almost every day since I got them.

I have never purchased Dr. Martens before but decided to give these boots a try. They are wonderful in every way! Incredibly stylish and super comfortable straight out of the box. This is a great, durable, stylish boot. I bought these for a trip to London (lots of walking), and they didn't disappoint. I have sensitive, blister-prone feet, and they didn't bother me once.

Depending on the brands, I typically range from a US size 6-7. Upon hearing that this shoe tended to run a little large, I ordered the size 6, and it fits great. Plus these shoes are both super comfortable and look cool!
