Great ankle boot. These are so cute. I love the button details, I love the heel height, I love the comfort. These look great with jeans, pants, or even a miniskirt with tights. I have skinny ankles and average calves, and they are not too loose in the ankle, just right for the style these days. Like others have mentioned, the thing I don't like about these boots is the clickity-clackity heel tap, but a quick replacement fixed that. They are slightly wider than average, especially in the heel, to the point where I needed an insole to keep my heel from slipping when wearing them with tights.

I was looking for a cute ankle boot that I could wear with skirts and pants alike, and I\'ve found it with this one. As other reviewers have noted, it really is a wine color, with a little more emphasis on the purple than the red. I think it makes the boot really versatile. The toe box is nice and wide and I was happy that the upper is leather, which I think has a lot more give than the microfiber that\'s inside many boots. I will get a lot of use out of these boots; I know it. The heel is comfortable, not too high. Yes, they\'re a little stiff but I think they\'ll loosen as time goes on. Overall, a very nice, durable boot.

Love this shoe! I just got them in the mail. My normal size is a 7 and that's exactly what I ordered. They fit perfectly! I even had them on with socks that weren't very thin or very thick. There was just enough extra room, but at the same time not too much. (I wouldn't be swimming in them if I wore tights.) They were tough to get on for about a split second (think of Ugg ankle boots without zippers until you wear them in). Definitely not a big issue. The leather was typical Dr. Marten leather. The style looked great with Jeans or leggings! Not sure about skirts and dresses. They would probably look fine as long as your calf isn't really big only because it comes up slightly above your ankle which might accentuate a bigger calf (although I could be wrong because I haven't tried them on with a skirt/dress yet). They also have plenty of room in the toe without looking too chunky and are very comfortable. I have back issues and can't wear heels that are too high, but these are just perfect. I highly recommend these boots!

These shoes go with everything and they are simple, yet super stylish. I am on my feet all day and they aren't as comfortable as I was hoping, but they keep you more comfortable than most heels. However, I love that they go perfectly with work clothes and jeans and skirts, everything! Overall, a versatile stylish, fairly comfortable (keep in mind I have super sensitive feet) shoe. I almost forgot to mention that Zappos is awesome!

I was hoping the color of these boots was more on the plum/eggplant side. They are exactly what I wanted and more. The color leans towards a deep reddish/purple/wine color. They are built strongly with a large toe box (but very sculptured in design). I have a slight bunion and these don't bother at all. The heel is short and comfortable during walking, but high enough to be sexy, too. I'm so glad I bought these wonderful ankle boots. I'd recommend them to anyone because they're beautiful and on sale, they're a great deal! Thanks Zappos for your awesome service, again! Zappos just rocks!

One of the most respected and well-know icons in the world, Dr. Martens' boots, shoes, work shoes, and sandals continue to set the standard for durability, comfort and fashion. Dr. Martens's trademark look and quality construction has been recognized world-wide since 1960.

Where the classic 1460 style was being used by mailmen, union workers, and factory workers, it soon became popular among the masses. The 1460 continues to thrive, symbolizing individualism, originality, and taps into a individual's unique style who's willing to make that bold statement.

Dr. Martens doesn't think of itself as a "shoe" brand, but rather a way of thinking, a self-expression if you must. Popularly known as Doc Martens, they allow you to feel free to rock your grunge shorts, spike up your hair to the heavens, showoff your body art, whatever floats your boat. So whether you call them Dr. Martens, Doc Martens or just Docs there are no limits to your creativity.

Gorgeous boot in a unique color - I waited for my size to be available in these boots and ordered when Zappos notified me that they had it. I normally wear a wide width, but have found the regular width fine with this boot. These boots are classy and chic at once, and the burgundy color is a burgundy-ish with an eggplant-colored tinge. The only improvement I could make to these would be to add a soft sole, like Softsoles brand shoes, and their comfort would be matched by their good looks. I haven't worn these for any extended period of time, but am used to very cushy shoes, so that would be my ideal. The "buttons" on the side of these are unique and I just love my new boots.

Just what I was looking for - I needed a pair of comfortable boots for work. I wasn't crazy about how these looked online, but they turned out to be cute once I had them on. I have to walk quite a bit to get to and from my apartment, the bus, etc., and my feet never hurt--not even on the first day I wore them! I did add gel insoles to the insides, so that may have something to do with it, but all in all, a great shoe.

Cute but... Doc Martens needs to make a half size option for these. Very cute, but the whole size was far too big. Went for an Eric Michael bootie instead, but these were tough and sturdy, would be great for running around town.

My Fabulous New Boots! My Jenna Dia-Ankle Boot (in wine) just arrived and I immediately put them on. They are even better than I imagined! The fit is great and the color is beautiful. They are amazingly comfortable and I will wear them to work (as I am now) and on the weekends with jeans. I can even see them with tights and a cute skirt. I'm so glad I ordered these! And thanks Zappos for the super-quick shipping.

My favorite shoes. I got these in Loden Green, and they come with 2 pairs of shoe laces: red, and white/cream. I wish they didn’t come with red--looks too holidayish, but that’s okay. I just love how comfy they are and how well they last. And the price is just hard to beat. LOVE these shoes.

I'm planning on returning these. The color is not what I thought it would be-more purple not reddish.Cute though just not what I was expecting.

Ankle Boot - Shipped in timely manner, looks great, very comfortable boot. Loved the non slip sole. The only problem is the shaft of the boot is almost too small to get my foot in; I have to use a shoe horn to make it easier to put on.

Great Doc Martens - I'm glad they're making more sophisticated styles. These are comfortable and wide enough in the toe box for my sensitive bunions. No break-in period needed; size is true. The soles provide great traction and the heel height is good for all day walking. For the price, it's a good investment. My only negative comment is that the leather could be a bit softer, but the material is classic Doc Martens.

Thanks for the other reviews - Because there were reviews about sizing of this shoe, I was able to tell what size to get. I was planning on buying them at a store near where I live but they only had black and not the right size. Nice to see that there are more colors here and plenty of sizes.

Great shoe & extremely comfortable. The heel is not too high so they are great casual shoes & for dressing up. They have great traction underneath so it doesn't feel like you're slipping around like with most heels. They are groovy boots.

No half sizes--too big! Such a cute boot, but my 8.5-sized foot swam inside, even with thick Smartwool socks. Decided on an 8.5 Clarks' instead. I hope the Doc Martin folks begin to offer 1/2 sizes.

Jenna Dia - Ankle Boot - I'm very happy with this boot both in looks and comfort. The toe is wide enough for comfort (no squished toes!) but they still look fashionable. Very comfy for standing for long periods too. They're well made and I have no complaints. Never knew Dr. Martens had such cute shoes.

Just don't fit - I LOVE this style and hoped to get both colors, but will have to send my pair back. Hard to rate these with radio buttons, because though at first I thought they were too big, actually the length is right but the heel and ankle are too loose and part of my foot was swimming and the other part had no room (wide enough in the toe but my big toe bumped the end). So disappointed after reading such good reviews, but they just won't work. Thank you Zappos for giving me the chance to try them out.

I love this boot! It’s stylish. Cute with jeans, slacks and skirts. Also very comfortable! I walk a mile to school and a mile back every day, and these shoes don't hinder me from doing that. I am buying a second pair.
