These are some great inserts that provide some good cushion and because of their shape, they can reduce the size of the shoe ever so slightly. So if your Docs fit just a tad big, these can help. Some caution: fold them in near half to help you get them down to the footbed, especially on taller boots. Once the heel is in place, unfold the folded half forward until it meets the toes.

INSOLES MAKE MY DOCS FIT - Since Docs don't come in half sizes, I bought mine in a US 7 instead of 6-1/2. After a couple of wears, my feet were really sliding around inside my shoes. At that point I was feeling pretty ill about spending a fair amount of money for shoes that were too big. I was amazed to find that Doc Marten's sells insoles for their shoes. They are offered in sizes to fit their shoes and boots exactly no trimming needed. The insoles are sturdy, yet cushiony -- not the usual floppy, spongy insoles sold in drugstores. Best of all, my Docs now fit as though I'd bought my usual size 6-1/2. My only complaint is that, because the heel of the insole is a bit thick, the heel of my foot is elevated and slides out of my shoe a little when I walk. But, the strap of my mary janes prevents my foot from actually escaping. I'm very satisfied with these insoles and relieved that I can now wear my Docs comfortably.

The insoles of my Doc Martens shoes were on their way out. Looking for replacements was frustrating until I happened to find Zappos.com online. These insoles are wonderful! Since I am a women's 7 1/2, and Dr. Martens shoes only come in whole sizes, these insoles provided the support needed and helped with the shoe size issue. They are extremely comfortable and very easy to insert into the shoes. Aside from the insoles, let me just say that ordering from Zappos.com was one of the best online experiences! I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas along with a pair of Dr. Martens boots. He absolutely loves them! He states that although the Docs are pretty comfortable on their own, the insoles just add that enough extra cushion that he has no problem being on his feet all day. I had gotten these insoles to replace the original insoles in my Bostonian dress shoes, the Bostonians were only a few months old but the insoles that they came with stated to fall apart, the Dr. Marten Comfort insoles have been great, very comfortable and supportive with no sign of deterioration. These insoles actually fit the inner dimensions of the shoes without having space for insoles to float or move around. You can tell that these are made for the shoes and not some cheap pair of insoles off the shelf. These are the only insoles that are worth putting in a pair of Dr. Martens.

Did the trick - My Dr. Martens were always a little loose after they were broken in. This made them a bit uncomfortable after a while as my feet seemed to be moving around in the shoe. I added these inserts in advance of going to the South by Southwest festival where I knew I was going to be on my feet all day and they worked like a charm! Huge difference.

Sure value! As I tend to fit between sizes I use the Dr. Martens insoles to double under the original insoles for shoes that are about a 1/2 size too big. The result is very satisfactory. The shoes tend to fit well to my foot and give me added comfort that is far superior to the original insole supplied with the shoes. I will definitely re-order more when I buy additional shoes. (I hope you will re-stock as there are no more in my size UK12).
