I had gotten these insoles to replace the original insoles in my Bostonian dress shoes, the Bostonians were only a few months old but the insoles that they came with stated to fall apart, the Dr. Marten Comfort insoles have been great, very comfortable and supportive with no sign of deterioration. A great buy!

These insoles actually fit the inner dimensions of the shoes without having space for insoles to float or move around. You can tell that these are made for the shoes and not some cheap pair of insoles off the shelf. These are the only insoles that are worth putting in a pair of Dr. Martens.

INSOLES MAKE MY DOCS FIT - Since Docs don't come in half sizes, I bought mine in a US 7 instead of 6-1/2. After a couple of wears, my feet were really sliding around inside my shoes. At that point I was feeling pretty ill about spending a fair amount of money for shoes that were too big. I was amazed to find that Doc Marten's sells insoles for their shoes. They are offered in sizes to fit their shoes and boots exactly no trimming needed. The insoles are sturdy, yet cushiony -- not the usual floppy, spongy insoles sold in drugstores. Best of all, my Docs now fit as though I'd bought my usual size 6-1/2. My only complaint is that, because the heel of the insole is a bit thick, the heel of my foot is elevated and slides out of my shoe a little when I walk. But, the strap of my mary janes prevents my foot from actually escaping. I'm very satisfied with these insoles and relieved that I can now wear my Docs comfortably.

Did the trick - My Dr. Martens were always a little loose after they were broken in. This made them a bit uncomfortable after a while as my feet seemed to be moving around in the shoe. I added these inserts in advance of going to the South by Southwest festival where I knew I was going to be on my feet all day and they worked like a charm! Huge difference.

Sure value! As I tend to fit between sizes I use the Dr. Martens insoles to double under the original insoles for shoes that are about a 1/2 size too big. The result is very satisfactory. The shoes tend to fit well to my foot and give me added comfort that is far superior to the original insole supplied with the shoes. I will definitely re-order more when I buy additional shoes. (I hope you will re-stock as there are no more in my size UK12).

Additional Brand Information

One of the most respected and well-know icons in the world, Dr. Martens' boots, shoes, work shoes, and sandals continue to set the standard for durability, comfort and fashion. Dr. Martens's trademark look and quality construction has been recognized world-wide since 1960.

Where the classic 1460 style was being used by mailmen, union workers, and factory workers, it soon became popular among the masses. The 1460 continues to thrive, symbolizing individualism, originality, and taps into a individual's unique style who's willing to make that bold statement.

Dr. Martens doesn't think of itself as a "shoe" brand, but rather a way of thinking, a self-expression if you must. Popularly known as Doc Martens, they allow you to feel free to rock your grunge shorts, spike up your hair to the heavens, showoff your body art, whatever floats your boat. So whether you call them Dr. Martens, Doc Martens or just Docs there are no limits to your creativity.

Great insole. I used them because my shoes were a little too big. Helped with my shoes to fit better.

Why the lines? My Docs are going to last forever but my insole has worn out. I had to cut down the toe a bit to fit the new insole in, but easy enough. The heel is not flat, has some height to it. Makes me feel like my feet are not all of the way in my shoes. The worst is the texture of the insole. There is an indented line that falls right under the ball of my foot, it is painful to walk on. Not the spongy niceness that I was hoping for.

Totally Ineffective - No arch support. Virtually worthless. Not much better than no insole at all.

If you could only walk a mile in my shoes. The comfort insoles are a must to keep your feet from getting fatigued. I just love them. They are great for walking or just standing for any length of time. Thanks Zappos, you did it again!

Perfect - I have had my Docs for over a year and are still in good condition, wearing them at least 4 days a week. But, the insoles were wearing out so I ordered new insoles and they fit perfect and are extremely comfortable.

My feet feel so much better! These are a great addition to any style of Dr. Martens. Only problem was that they were too long for my Mary Janes (size 9); I had to trim some of the insole in the toe area to make it fit.

Feels like new shoes - I bought these insoles a couple of years ago to help extend the life of my favorite, well-worn walking shoes. I removed the old insoles, which were worn in places, and causing blisters. I replaced the old inserts with these Doc Martens and my shoes feel like new! And they're still going strong. I walk about 3 miles a day on average. This insole gives good firm overall cushioning.

So Comfortable... I actually purchased these because one of my feet is smaller than the other and one shoe is usually too snug or too loose. Now I find that I use both insoles, not just one, because they are so comfortable. I have always had a little pain in my feet after wearing boots. I had always just accepted that this was from wearing them for so long. Now I don't have to suffer with pain. These are the best.

I really don't think a "looks" rating matters since this goes INTO the shoe.... The insoles are perfect for me. I'm a half-size, and most boots (especially Docs) come in whole sizes only. The shoes can get a little loose after you break them in. These insoles help to keep them fitting great.

A must-buy for Doc owners with 1/2-size feet - If you're like me and your Docs are a little too roomy because they don't come in half-sizes, just get these insoles. A perfect fit and they feel great. I had to trim about a 1/4 inch off the front of each insole since I think they run a little longer than the corresponding shoe size, but no big deal.

Half sizes please? I ended up having to buy DMs that were a .5 size too large, of course, so I tried these insoles, which came highly recommended from a friend that had used them. they really helped with the fit on the foot bed, making it much much more comfortable for all day wear (still getting used to the hanging heel!!) but unfortunately do nothing to help my skinny legs fit into the tops of the boots (8 holes). All in all, a good product but maybe a boot specific insole that goes up the back? Not sure if that would help or not.
