Wow! Just bought these from Zappos about a week ago, and got them today. These are THE most comfortable boots I've ever worn from Dr Martens! They are really rugged and tough looking, as well. I like that they brought back the old-style sole pattern. When I first got them, I was kind of suprised at how big the sole was, however they have really grown on me. Comfortable and attractive. Recommended buy!

Dr Martens combat boots. The first time I encountered the Dr Martens brand was when I visited the USA on a students' exchange program. I immediately fell in love with that kind of footwear -they're solid, stable, durable and easy-to-wear. The combat boots by Dr Martens are, in my opinion, nearly the best product of this kind your money can buy. They share all the features listed by me, promised by the company, and much more. By the way, they also look great. The unforgettable feeling of wearing the same boots the British soldiers ran into the battle field during World War II is what you can bank on. What else would you expect from an Army's official supplier? If you own it already, I don't have to tell you these things. If you still don't -just try one, and welcome to the club of the greatest fans!

Tough boot, you WILL get your money's worth. I bought a pair of these late in '95, and I think I wore them about every damn day for close to 3 years. Consider a couple days for break-in, but after that, wear them all day with no problems. I still have them and wear them every time I ride my chopper/work outside/shovel/a**kick/food shop/get busy with my lady/bar hop/etc. I have literally worn the tread down to a racing slick, and still a good daily wear. Except this week, I caught the front of the sole on a board and pulled it back. 'Still wore them in the rain and I didn't get wet. Which brings me to this site, I'm gonna buy another pair right now. Stay on the earth.
Brands I'd also recommend: Nuthin', this is the only shoe you will need.

Dr.Martens V.S. Harley Davidson Steel Toe Boots. I've gone out and wasted money on Boots that Fell apart, and they didn't get the Job Done. Usually every year I have to go out and buy another pair Of Steel Toe Boots, they always wear out since I'm a Construction Worker. I went out and bought a pair of HARLEY DAVIDSON Steel Toe Boots and they only lasted 6 months. I bought a pair of Dr.Martens and I've had them for almost 2 years. The only Problem I had was my feet got an inch bigger and I'm going to Buy another pair of Dr.Martens just to Top it off. *I'm 110% Satisfied with Dr.Martens Boots*
Brands I'd also recommend: ~Harley Davidson Boots have a decent style, but they don't Last Long~

As a non-racist skinhead! As a bootboy, I need maximum versatility in a boot. I find that these boots give me exactly that. Whether running from the law, stomping faces, puking in the back alley, or lookin' sharp for the ladies, I find there is nothing that these boots can't do. As long as I'm a skin, I'll always have a pair! Thank you Dr. Marten for coming out with such a great boot. You have made this skinboy smile many times.

Don't waste your cash. Doc's used to be of much higher quality. Now the soles aren't even sewed on, they're glued! That's fake stitching you're seeing. They only lasted 6 months for me, then the damn sole was falling apart. I wore them 5 days a week doing masonry work, but they should've lasted longer. Try Gripfast or Gettagrip instead.

I'am Getting A Pair Before They're Sold Out! I wouldn't say that Dr.Martens are the best if I never bought pair. But now I can say Dr.Martens are the Best Steel Toe Boots because I own a Pair and they still look and feel brand new after being in brawls and parties. I am buying another pair because they're going to be sold out soon so might as well buy a pair.

nice boots I just bought these boots and man are they sharp. They are actually pretty comfortable cosidering their size and all. These boots are great for turning peoples shins into waffles. I'm sure they'll last a good while.

Amazing. Ah, good ol docs. The only bad thing about ordering these shoes are the shoelaces that come with the boots. I find them ugly. So buy some nice shoelaces from your nearest, oh CVS, or K-Mart, and put on some oi! Buy these now. you will never find a better price on a pair of doc martens. I've gotten many compliments on these shoes, and you will too.

Great service, great product. 'Found Zappos.com by surfing the web for a cheaper pair of Dr. Martens. 'Found these boots at a great price. Boots were delivered about 5 days after order was placed. I had to return my first pair because I ordered one size too large, but I printed out a return label supplied by Zappos at no cost to me. How great is that?! What place gives you great prices and free shipping/returns!! I highly recommend doing business with this company as well as getting a pair of these boots.

Steel toe kicks ass again. This is the steel toe for looks as well as function, I've had Docs for over 25 years and I'll wear nothing else. I have 13 pair and the steel toes are the newest ones on the list. They're comfortable and durable. You need nothing else in life for your feet. -Ol man 36

Awesome! My first pair of Docs... I love them!!! As soon as I got them, I put them on and went to practice with my band. They push you to move around when you play! I hope they last a long time and not like other reviews I have read.

These boots are the best and I got them at a great price. I would strongly recomend Docs to anyone. I've had these boots for 6 or 7 months now and they hold up to anything and have saved my toes many times in the pit. I think any Oi! or street punk kid should invest in these boots. Thanks Doc Marten for making this girl happy.

Worn them for one day and love them! I wear a women's US 7.5 and ordered this boot first in a UK5...the delivery was fantastic -I received my shoes earlier than expected. But they were definitely too big. So I went and printed out a UPS mailing label on Zappos' site and their entire return process worked fantastic. And when I needed my exchange pair shipped to WA instead of CA, their Customer Service department responded very quickly and it wasn't a problem at all. I will definitely buy from Zappos again. As far as the shoes go -I love them and can't believe how comfortable they are, considering that I've only worn them for a day. However, I would definitely, definitely recommend ordering them a full size smaller than you think you'll need because they run large. Last, but not least, I'm happy with the price I paid...the same pair at Journeys was $138 and they didn't have the size I needed anyway. All around a very good experience.

Great protection - I got these a couple months ago and they have done a great job protecting my feet. If you're looking for a good pair of steel toed "s***kickers", this is definitly a good choice. Although they're a bit heavy, because of the thickness of the sole.

Bye this bootssssss - I got this boot. I wear a men's 11.5, but I ordered 11, and it felt right on. Very comfy, I love them. I've worn them since I got them. If you look for boots, get these, you will not regret it.

Great boots - I just got these boots a couple days ago after reading the reviews on this site for them. They look good and are tough. The only thing I had to do to make them perfect is add an insole to make them more comfortable, but now they're perfect. I can't wait to break them in!

Did Not Fit! US Mens 8 was too large and a US Mens 7 was too small. To bad they don't offer half sizes. Tongue design of the boot is very bad. It is sewn right to the sides of the boots instead of free floating. This caused the tongue to bunch up inside the boot and created a sore spot on the inside of my foot.
