True to size and width, heavier than others but comfortable. I don\'t have hot feet in them but do need longer pants. They are not for those into style.

Best shoes I've ever owned, very comfortable and durable. Over three years of daily wear and they're very intact. A little too scuffed from hard use for dress wear now, so I'm buying another pair. Even thinking about getting two pairs and sticking one in the closet for another few years down the road. Only complaint is tongue slippage, but once they're on a little while it stays in place.

Look good but not perfect - I used to wear Docs all the time. The ones made in England. I still have both old pairs, 12 years later. Still in good condition too. I wanted an updated and more stylish pair but I guess these are made elsewhere. My main concern though was the thick sole. Before I got these I was wearing Timberland Precisefit oxfords which are awesome, in comfort and appearance, but discontinued. So these new Dr. Martens feel pretty heavy and clunky in comparison. I usually need a size 12.5, and I hoped that with the UK/US conversion that a size 13 would work for me but I was wrong. It was just way too big. I sent those back and ordered size 12 with my fingers crossed. Those seem like a good fit, but to my surprise they're still roomy. I lace them up tight. Walking in them takes some getting used to. They just feel a bit clunky, like boots. I don't think I'll wear them everyday. I do like the look of this shoe. Mine are Peanut Grizzly. I'll probably order another pair of Dr. Martens, some that feel more like shoes, for when my feet are fatigued from these.

Better than expected. I expected to need shoe inserts and for them to need a week to break in. I needed neither. They fit perfectly right out of the box. No need to get a larger or smaller. Just your normal size will be fine.

My Favorite Shoes - I've had these for a little over a year now and I cannot think of a single complaint! I wear them every day to work and they still look and feel as good as they did out of the box. Great looking shoe and more comfortable than my other two pairs of Docs.

Dr. Martens 8312 series - These shoes are really nice. I had some blistering when I wore them around NYC for an entire day, and sometimes the tongue slides to the side. But as long as you're not trekking across the city for hours, you'll be good.

Without a doubt, the best shoes ever made! I have been wearing Docs for over 20 years and every time I buy a new pair, I am blown away....again. A slightly heavy shoe, but in 2 days, they feel like you have worn them for 2 years. Super soft leather but thick and durable. They fit about a half size larger so keep that in mind.

The only ONE! I have bought my son another pair of Dr. Martens before, so this is the only ONE type of shoe that he would consider looking at. He loves the look, the feel, and the way that they wear, they are comfortable.

My fav - These shoes are my favorite. They go great with any pair of pants and any style. They are comfortable and durable.

Look and feel great! I had to finally retire my old Docs after having them for almost 10 years! I expect nothing less from these, and so far they have delivered. They are comfortable AND I love the look. A must have for your casual wardrobe.
