Great shoes. I got them to match True Religion Tony Vintage Premium jeans, with similar stitching in pockets to the Doc's. Perfect, and the color is great. It is a little faded/cool so not plastic and new looking leather. I usually take 10½-11; got 10 and 11, the 11 was good, 10 went back. Do not go smaller than your usual; go higher if you usually wear a half size shoe.

My wife loves these shoes. To be honest when I first saw them I thought they would be stiff and uncomfortable. On closer look they were soft and seemed to be well padded. Bottom line is that she needs good footwear for work and these deliver with style.

These shoes were comfortable the first time I put them on. No break in period was needed and the free shipping with Zappos is terrific. The only little problem I have with the shoes is the tongue on the left shoe tends to slip to the left on my foot no matter how tight I fasten the laces. Overall, these shoes are great!

I have a pair of these in "honey", which was an option several years ago. They have taken a beating and are still one of my favorite and most comfortable pairs of shoes! However, I had some different Docs in black that weren't quite as fantastic (don't recall the name of the originals). So I just picked up a second pair of the 8312 in black. Brilliant! At least as comfy as my old browns and they look hot. I hope this model stays for a long time and I'd buy them in more colors if they were offered! Giving only 4 stars for style because that's so subjective, but 5 stars overall -- I get compliments and can wear these shoes all day long with a smile.

Awesome shoes. They took a couple days to break them in, but I have been wearing them every day since. The larger sole makes them feel a little heavy, but I like having clunky shoes on.

Overall, I absolutely love these shoes. As with all of my previous pairs of Docs, they are extremely uncomfortable for about the first week until they are broken in. After that, these are the most comfortable shoes I have owned. The arch support is a bit lacking, but with a mild insole insert, it makes them just right.

I love these shoes! The leather was a little stiff the first few times I wore them but they have broken in beautifully. They look great with jeans or khakis and I can wear them all day without having any pain in my feet - and I spend a lot of time on my feet.

Great shoes! This is my 2nd pair of Docs. My others I've had for about 11 years now and they look almost new still. These are comfortable after a short breaking in period, look great with khakis or jeans. Absolutely love them.

I love this shoe. I am a waitress so I need something that going to grip the floor. I feel comfortable in these shoes. They look heavy but there are not at all.

I love these shoes. I needed something that had grip on the soles. I feel so much better walking around in snow or ice with these shoes on. I never feel like I will fall. These shoes were worth the money. They are awesome!

Were shipped overnight! Little stiff at first but love them, great for work. I'm a Doctor and on my feet all day. I wear a 13 running shoe but the 12 works for this shoe.

About 3 years ago we bought these shoes in brown for my husband and he wore them every single day! Fab construction and durable, very comfortable for him too! When it came time for him to replace his other black shoes there was no competition on which to get - these! He loves them, and for a guy that a few years ago would wear nothing but cowboy boots this is a huge step! We promise you won't be disappointed; they do well in rain, snow, or sunshine, and are probably the only kind of shoes he will ever buy in the future. Even the 3 year old brown pair is showing minimal signs of age after all this time - great shoes!
