Dr. Martens 1460 W SKU #118955(View on Zappos.com Classic)

I always wanted a pair of Doc Marten 1460s since I was in middle school. Unfortunately, my mother did not share in this dream, and my boots never materialized. \r\n\r\nThen I ran into a striking woman during NY\'s Fashion Week this past September, and she had on a pair of patent leather 1460s in black and from that moment on, I knew I absolutely had to have them. Fortunately, my very sweet boyfriend was kind enough to purchase these for me. \r\n\r\nAs for the look, they are absolutely amazing! I throw them on with denim shorts, layered t-shirts and I\'m out the door. My legs look amazing in them and I don\'t know, there\'s just something about wearing 1460s that gives you a ton of confidence. I also love the fact that they are patent leather and not plain leather. It makes them a bit more unusual and unique. I\'ve already gotten quite a few looks because of them. \r\n\r\nNow, as for the fit: I\'m an 8.5/9 depending on the company and a solid 40 in European brands and a UK 7. I went with a size 9 in these and am very pleased. My feet don\'t look big and there\'s a solid amount of toe room with socks on. My ONLY issue was with the stitching that joins the tongue to the shoe itself, on the inside of the boot that hits to top of my right foot -- well that hurt for at least the first few wears. But not that they are finally broken in, I wear them with zero problems. Apart from that, they are unbelievably comfortable and relatively lightweight. I am beyond thrilled with my purchase and highly recommend them to anyone considering them. Worth every penny!

The perfect fit, no break in period, comfortable as can be! The leather was very very supple, which worries me a little since I remember my older Dr. Martens feeling a little more sturdy and actually needing a break in period, but, hey, if I can wear it everyday and feel like I'm walking on air, what's there to complain about, right?

Great Shoe, Great Brand - Dr. Martens are already infamous for being fabulous so when I finally decided to get a pair to add to my wardrobe, I wasn't nervous at all, LOL. I just got them today, they feel wonderful on, although the breaking in process is blah, but I can tell in a few days they will be hugging my feet just right! No problems or complaints at all, except I would like to note (just in case anyone else has wacky eyes) I bought the green pair. In the picture they seemed to be along the lines of a turquoise green, but they are actually more of a kelly green. I love them all the same, but just wanted to clarify in case anyone else thought they were turquoise like I did! And Zappos, zappos, zappos... only my second purchase but this place is MAGNIFICENT! I really think most companies don't understand how wonderful customer service can improve your site to the FULLEST… most sites except for Zappos that is!

I love my floral Doc Marten's. They were immediately comfortable and have gotten even better as they soften. I use them on my Vespa, and have gotten numerous compliments on them. As for Zappos: Great service. Even greater prices. Can't believe the return policy, including shipping. I almost wish I didn't love my Doc's so I could try it. You can't lose.

I love, love, love Dr. Martens and I am so happy with the classics! They are a little tight when you first put them on but once they are broken in they feel divine! I love the raised flowers on this pair, they are very dainty and come with a tag that says they are a lady and they don't like to get dirty! I normally wear an 8.5 shoe but I got an 8, they do run a little big it seems! One more note, Zappos.com is phenomenal. The shopping is easy and the customer service CAN NOT be beat! These boots are amazingly comfortable right off the bat but the greatest thing about this purchase is the service at Zappos.com...I ordered several pairs of boots and shoes that did not fit me and the free shipping makes it possible for me to shop from the comfort of my home and at times that fit perfectly into my schedule. This is my fourth purchase from Zappos.com and as usual the experience was a pleasure.

Happy camper!! I simply love my new pink (patent) boots. They are even nicer looking than I imagined. They feel very comfortable and the tone of pink is easy to match with other colors. I wear them a lot and have lots of nice comments. All I have to say is that I am a happy camper!!! Ciao for now!

Love them! They are so comfy! I wore them after a 12 mile run, my legs hurt but they were like slippers! I would buy these again.
