Overall:

These are wonderful insoles if you want stability. They went a long way toward curing my plantar fasciitis. They are not cushiony, but too much cushioning does cause the instability (wobbling) of the foot that leads to injuries. I recommend these for just about anyone. You may want more cushioning if you are primarily walking...

What a Relief!!! I am so happy I got these!!! Well worth the money and so happy I did. I have to say I have been struggling with Superfeet Green Insert and being on your feet 10hrs a day with work nonstop I was still feeling I was in the breaking in period and was riding it out for well over 2 weeks now. Has gotten better but...I decided to give these a try and My Goodness what a difference right off the bat!!! Softer but still all the support and more and I like how my feet slide in and out very easily with sock on in using insoles with the leather footbed. Well worth it totally. I am wishing I would have purchased these first instead of the SuperFeet. These are totally better in my opinion.

I'm not sure why these insoles don't have more reviews than they do, they're amazingly comfortable! I purchased a pair of these and a pair of Superfeet Premium Green so that I could compare the two. I have a pair of LOWA Renegade GTX (size 11) hiking boots that I wear on a daily basis while I'm on my feet at work for 9 hours a day. I first tried the Superfeet in them for two days. They fit very precisely into the boot, no cutting necessary and overall were quite comfortable. The only issue I had was that the arches seemed to be a little tall for my feet, and therefore caused a little discomfort. Next up was the DownUnders Ultra Walker/Work. These too required absolutely no trimming. The size 11 fit exactly into a size 11 boot. These insoles are extremely comfortable, and the arch support was exactly the level required for my feet. I figure I have fairly average arches; not too high, not flat. When I was in the Air Force I never had any problem with any of the clothing issue that was provided. This is why I consider myself of average build and body type. The bottom line is the DownUnders in a LOWA boot is amazingly comfortable. Throw in a pair of Smartwool thick or medium socks and it's like walking on air. Well worth the the price. The Superfeet insoles too are very comfortable, and I actually found that if I use them with my Frye leather boots they don't hurt my arches at all. I would highly recommend either insole to friends/family, but the DownUnders in my opinion are just a little more comfortable. I'll buy from them again when these wear out for sure.

Amazing insoles! They last forever. I have never had better support for running. I used to get tendonitis in my toes and have knee injuries but when I use these all the pain is gone! I love these insoles!

DownUnders work wonders!I love these inserts! I have been wearing them with all my shoes for over 8 years and will not wear a pair of sport shoes without them. My bunion went from screaming every night to a mild whimper when I'm on my feet all day.

DownUnders in Running Shoes - Purchased these about 1 month ago primarily for running shoes. The inserts are fairly stiff and are maintaining the stiffness so far. Provide good support but not a lot of cushion. If you need more cushioning then you may want to try some other inserts.

Love these insoles. I have bought 3 pair in the last past year. Great for putting in my shoes that I wear at the hospital for 12 hour shifts or for my running shoes. Greatly help prevent knee and back pain for me.

Athletic shoe inserts - These inserts were recommended by my chiropractor. Since using these inserts, the pain in my feet has disappeared.

Need cushioning - Great for doing what they say they will. Just wish they had more cushioning for my long days on my feet. They are comfortable otherwise and keep my feet stable.

Ahhhhhh!All I can say is ahhhhh! I purchased the purple ones a couple of years ago and they were excellent. I decided to order them based on the reviews. I have plantar fasciitis and tarsal tunnel and these are so far very comforting to walk on. Their price is a small price to pay for this type of comfort. I love Zappos service.

I bought a pair of these DownUnders for my Dr. Martens steel-toed boots and they made all the difference in the world. Like having a different pair of boots, especially when walking/working on concrete. HIHGLY RECOMMEND. Price is no comparison to the comfort.

Sweeeeet!!!!!!These insoles are simply the best. The support is awesome and I love the leather cover because it allows my socks to slide into my shoes without the the drag. Thank you Zappos for bringing in this line of supports because they are very hard to find.

Can't beat them - I've been using DownUnders in my running shoes for a few years now, and they have helped save my knees and feet. I've tried many others, but these are the ones that work the best in my running shoes. I find they have just the right amount of arch support.

Elite Leathers - go for the ultra walkers instead - These are great insoles but no better than the Downunders Ultrawalkers in my opinion and cost $7 more. Either version you get though, these are the best insoles I have found so far. They have turned my Converse All Stars into shoes nearly as comfortable to wear as my $300 Mephisto's. They are very well built and easy to take out and switch from shoe to shoe. I'll get them again for sure, but to be honest my feet don't know the difference between the elites and the Ultras, so I'll save the $7 and use it towards more shoes.

Best insoles I've found yet - I bought the green ultra walkers as well as the grey suede Elites from DownUnders and both are excellent. The ultras were cheaper and feel the same as the more expensive ones, so that's what I will order in the future. Birkenstock'ish cork soles covered with nice comfy outer layer, sturdy and easy to put in and take out of shoes. I move them from shoe to shoe and so far they have made even my most uncomfortable pair of Converse All Stars as nice as my $300 Mephisto's. Well, close anyways.... I stand/walk all day at my job (USPS) and have arthritis and these are the best insoles I've gotten yet.

These were great!I bought these purple ones 2 years ago and no longer use them. At the time they provided instant relief from plantar fasciitis and other painful foot issues. I got about a year's worth of comfort from them. I would suggest these for folks with normal feet (no problems that is). They are very high quality for the money.
