This is the absolute best all around bag. It works great for cross body, over the shoulder or just use the handles. Its roomy inside with great organization. The leather is buttery soft and extremely comfortable to wear, plus its classic lines make it a chic alternative to a cross body pouch type purse. This is my new go to bag!

Usually I do a lot of research before making a purchase and that was the case when I bought this bag. Satchel style works best for me and although I was afraid that the bag might be too small, I'm glad to report it's just perfect. I don't have a problem with fitting my entire hand into the purse. I'm not using the crossbody style but am happy that it's an option.

A lovely bag if you didn't want to use the cross body strap. I'm 5'1" and on the shortest hole the bag was below my hip. Too bad because I love Dooney and Bourke and have been searching for a year for the perfect bag. I thought this would be the one; it's a great size and made of quality materials. Great bag! Size is perfect - big enough to hold the essentials, yet not too big to wear as a cross body bag when you don't want something too bulky. The ivy green color is very dark green, with an almost black tint, so it works with many shades of green. Can be used for all seasons.

This is a beautiful bag, but it is too small for my needs. The strap is so long even in the last hole. I would have to be a foot taller to use it! I am under 5'. I am returning it. It is great quality.

I really wanted to like this beautiful little purse. I do not think that I have met too many Dooneys that I have not fallen in love with. Unfortunately this well made, purse is a little too small for regular use. I could not fit the kitchen sink into it. The major flaw with this purse is the strap. I am under 5' and with the strap in the last hole, it still hung down to the bottom of my hips - no way would it be convenient to reach into it. If you had it had to be altered, it looks like it would be a project that would have to be done by a very careful shoe repair shop. The strap would have to be cut evenly on both sides and then re-stitched to the right length. Also, and this is something that I have had a problem with during my last Dooney purchase, the zipper is rather hard to pull. I had to search through many many Dooney Satchels in the store before I Finally found one that did not stick. I would have loved to give this five stars in every category, but the strap would be a major problem for anyone who was not tall. I had to return it.

This is a very nice bag but it is too small for a working girl. I could only fit my wallet, glasses and small cosmetic bag in it. I sent it back and got the larger one which I love.

This is mainly for the customers who find the strap too long. It is. What I did successfully is take an ice pick, followed by larger nail, and hammer and made another hole where needed. Absolutely perfect and not noticeable. Size is small but with inside arrangement holds everything I normally use when shopping. A keeper.
