What a great tote! I specifically purchased this as a travel tote/purse for the fall/winter. It works great because it has a divided interior with zippered compartments and a handy little spot for my cellphone. I'm small framed, 5'4", and sometimes totes can be too large for me, but this one is just right. It has enough room for all my typical handbag items, wallet, cosmetic pouch, etc., plus my camera, small umbrella, and still has room to spare. I've taken this tote on several weekends away where we were walking quite a bit, and it was comfortable on my shoulder the entire day. The flat bottom is nice so that bag will stand up nicely on a flat surface making it easy to search inside for things quickly (like my camera). I like the mix of black and brown suede and brown leather straps. It will go with everything this fall. The interior is a neutral tan/brown, again a plus in my opinion. I don't like when a bag has a patterned interior if the bag does not zip closed. This tote has a magnetic snap closure that holds closed very well. Overall, an excellent tote bag, no negatives whatsoever.

I ordered the Dooney and Bourke signature Mini Nikki Bag. I really like this bag. The size is perfect to hold all your essentials. Not too big or too small. It came in perfect shape and has the quality of Dooney and Bourke. The colors are perfect for fall/winter months. I also ordered the matching coin purse. My experience with this bag mirrors almost exactly the review from Donna of Gainesville. I saw Palomino on sale and quickly got one. I was extremely disappointed when I opened my package and took my first look at the bag, but decided to give it a try anyway. Boy, was my first impression wrong! I am now so pleased with my bag that I went ahead and got it in another color. I may buy it in a few more! And no, Donna from Gainesville, you are not the only one that thinks that Palomino is a perfect bag for fall! I completely agree!

I received this bag a few days ago and I\'m very pleased with it. It\'s just the right size for all the essentials plus a few extra things. I like that it stands up nicely when you put it down (doesn\'t fall all over the ground). Also, it\'s easy to get in and out of and keeps things nice and organized. It\'s the great quality you would expect from Dooney and Bourke. \r\n\r\nOnly thing I will add is that it doesn\'t really "slouch" per say. That name might be a little misleading because it is a pretty rigid bag- doesn\'t have much give to it. I am perfectly happy with it the way it is and prefer it that way, but if you\'re looking for a true slouch bag this probably won\'t be what you are looking for.

I bought this wallet in Palamino to match my bag. It is beautiful, as always, but I have a few concerns. The zippers are difficult and catchy to the point of me being afraid I'm going to damage them trying to get them to work, and the front compartment for change is so very small. It's difficult to get my fat fingers into it. At the bottom of the zip around, the bright pink lining shows through just a tad, and I wish the strap was removable. I knew before I ordered it the strap was not removable, so really can't complain about that. I have only used it for two days so I expect the zippers will work themselves out and glide smoothly. This has been the case with every Dooney I have purchased. All that being said, I do love the color and the leather quality. It is true to Dooney and Bourke quality and I expect it will last many many years.

I had wanted this bag in Palamino for so long, so when it went on sale, I quickly grabbed one up. When my bag arrived I was so disappointed. I hated everything about it except the beautiful color. The height of the bag was insane, the short strap was awkward, the zippers stuck, and the bag smelled horrible. I was heartbroken, but I wanted to love this bag so badly I decided to give it a try. When I loaded my stuff into the bag it immediately looked good, and when I first put it on my shoulder it felt great. It has now been four weeks, and I am in love with it! The leather softened and slouched, making the strap just the right length, the zippers worked themselves out within days and now glide smoothly, and the bad textile/chemical smell dissipated in about two days. The bag is beautiful and so classy looking. I will absolutely buy it in another color, Navy I think. Also, I read every review of this bag I could find on many websites, and every single person who said they bought the Palamino, said they bought it for summer. I bought mine for fall. I think this color is perfect for the season. It is the exact color of a beautiful fall leaf and looks so good with my jewel tone sweaters. I can't believe I am the only person who thinks this. Palamino color just looks like fall to me. Love my bag! You get a lot of bag for your money with this one.

I fell in love with this handbag at a local department store and on the Dooney & Bourke website. But, of course I would only buy it at Zappos.com because the price was lower, no sales tax, and overnight delivery. And, the description and pictures on the Zappos website are much better than the D&B website. Hooray for a great looking, functional purse and a Double Hooray for Zappos.

I bought this bag for traveling and have not been disappointed. It worked well for a recent train trip. Initially I saw this bag at a department store but decided to get it at Zappos because they carried more colors. (I got the olive green.) I love cross body bags which leave your hands free. Even though this is a large bag, it still lays comfortably across the body. The strap is wide and lies flat and is adjustable. The zipper is great for keeping everything in, and the best part is the bright yellow lining inside. It looks great too! I love Zappos and Dooney & Bourke.

This is a very comfortable, stylish bag. Overall I like it very much. However, the leather is very stiff so it doesn't crush down as much as I would like. The strap is a little bit adjustable, which is good because I lengthened it about an inch. Also this bag had a very strong chemical smell when I opened the package and it took a few days to air out. This is my first Dooney & Bourke so I don't know if this is normal. I expected a nice rich leather smell like my Fossil bags. The outside pockets are very convenient for cell phone and keys.

The purse is lovely. However, it has one major design flaw. The shape at the top makes it hard to zip the purse up after opening it. Other than that I love the purse. I put a thread guard to keep the zipper from opening all the way. That prevents the zipper from coming apart when I try to close it.

This purse is absolutely striking and beautiful. \r\n\r\nI dithered for a long time about spending so much on a purse but I\'m sure this will be a favorite for many, many years to come. The construction is Dooney & Bourke\'s standard excellent. The leather is top rate. The design is wowzers -- I get compliments every time I carry it. The shape is classic. And animal prints are always "new" and "must haves" every 4 or 5 years.\r\n\r\nZappos\' price was right in line with local merchants (who didn\'t have the variety of sizes and detail colors). Delivery was super fast. \r\n\r\nI\'m delighted in every way.

Love this bag. I have at least a dozen Dooney bags. This one I saw featured in In-Style magazine I believe and fell in love with it. Lightweight yet it really get noticed. I got the gold color which is SO PERFECT for fall. The inside liner is fluorescent pink and is really bright. I mean bright. The leather trim, as well as the web longer cross-body strap are the coolest. I have all leather Dooney bags and this is my first nylon. I will indeed get another color.
