This is a very high-end bag. The leather is superior to the other DBs I've bought, and those leathers are nice to begin with. I bought the cream/natural bag for summer wear. It is fabulous. The size, as other reviews have said, is just right. I fit a large wallet, sunglass case, and eyeglass case in this bag. The leather smells delicious. I swear I catch people looking at this bag! My mom bought a DB all weather leather drawstring in cream/natural for less money, but the leather on this bag is many steps up and she is wishing she bought this one.

I am in complete love with this bag. I was hesitant at first as to whether or not I was going to buy this bag or the medium Chiara bag, as I am particularly fond of larger handbags. I am so glad I went with this style- it is adorable. I honestly get complimented everywhere I go. I bought the pink and it’s honestly the best color ever- it makes me smile every time I look at it. The purse itself is also quite larger than the picture may depict, which I was happy about. If you are hemming and hawing about whether or not to purchase this bag, do not! It's honestly the best summer bag ever and any of the patent leather colors are wonderful...trust me- go for it! My mom is an avid collector of handbags and mostly purchases Louis Vuitton- I am lucky that I can mooch off her. ;) We, however, have found our way back to Dooney. Although, I will probably be coined "Elle Woods" as I head back to law school toting my bright pink purse and blonde hair- I don't care...great, great, bag.

Great purse! If you are looking for a true white bag, the coated canvas is the way to go. We all love the true leather Dooney products, but the white leather is a bit yellow. This bag on the other hand, is true white with great brown leather trim. The zipper opens plenty wide to access the inside of the purse and the handle falls to the side to allow easy access also. The handle/strap stays on your shoulder and does not slip off when carrying, which is one down fall of the double handles on some other Dooney bags. Overall, GREAT purchase, with lots of compliments on it already!!! :)

I love this bag! I have very specific desires for my bag: Not so deep that I can't see everything at once, can stand on its own, not so heavy with all kinds of metal, no interior divider that inhibits good view of contents, easily assessable outside pocket. This bag is also so cute. Get lots of compliments. It is so well made and the interior is light colored which lends itself to easy viewing. This is the perfect bag...stylish and user friendly!!!

I got this bag in the pink. I adore it. I love all the calf leather items. I really wish Dooney would do some in orange. It’s the perfect size. I can get my long wallet in vertically and it just closes. I use the front for lipglosses or whatever else. The dog leash for the keys is a little odd… I mean how far can your keys go in a bag like this? The only thing I don’t like is that my iphone doesn’t fit in the phone pocket. It fits, but then I can’t zip the bag. So I don’t use the pocket. This isn’t a new thing with Dooneys though – I’ve noticed the phone pockets on their bags range in sizes. I also like to wear my bag longer and it extends to a good length. The leather is great and will last and wear very well. I may even consider the green one next. Handy bag.

I really enjoy my carrier bag in chestnut. I purchased it in black too but returned it because it kind of looked more navy to me. Both are still gorgeous bags, and I'm pleased with mine thus far. It's roomy enough for my purposes (wallet, phone, keys, lipstick, sunscreen, hand sanitizer). Sometimes the strap gets twisted around but it straightens easily enough. Really, overall, it's a great product. The shipping, return, and getting refunded went smoothly and quickly.

I love the look of this bag...but it is heavy even before you put your things in the bag. Maybe it's the hardware. I tried the bag, but after 3 days- it is just sitting on my shelf. If I do use it in the future, it will only be for a few hours.

Perfect size, perfect bag - This D&B is very nice, very roomy. The leather is superb and looks like a super expensive bag, but the price is reasonable. The zippers are stiff like other reviewers have mentioned, but this will work out. The inside storage pockets are too small for a blackberry, but the outside pocket works much better, they are larger and good for access. Overall, beautiful bag can't wait to buy another. Great service from Zappos!

Very nice tailored handbag. I disagree with the other reviewer. This bag is not too large. But, if you want a traditional well-made bag, buy this one. For the price point, D&B cannot be compared. This bag can go with a dress suit or jeans. Very versatile. Zappos rocks again. (I think I am a little addicted to them...)

Coming back for my second color with this fab Dooney purchase. It's a great unstructured type of bag, leather is beautiful, and the medium size is about as much as one could handle. You can stuff a TON in here. You absolutely do NOT need to order the "large" size, unless you're thinking of this as some type of luggage. Despite the size it is fairly light weight for a nice quality leather-- lighter than Dooney's vachetta so it’s easy to carry. I had the hot pink, which, despite its name, isn't an in your face hot pink. It's a gorgeous all year deeper/darker pink, but not childish. Highly recommend this if you are someone who needs a larger bag for work or your outings.

Beautiful, but TOO NARROW - I've been looking for a practical and beautiful red wallet to replace my worn out one. Love the look and compartments of this D&B, but very disappointed with the wrong width. This wallet is NOT 4.5" HIGH AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. It is only 4" (the half inch has to be the tab when fastened to the top snap - that does not make the whole wallet wider!), which makes the cards fit SO tightly. D&B should make their next model wider, in my humble opinion. I tried several wallets lately and want to move on already... I do so much love the shape and color and the way it's divided - might keep it and hope the card slots soften in time. You know, suffer for beauty?

I have this in red birdseye and brown leather and find the size just right. In the front pockets I have my cell phone on one side and a notebook and pen on the other. Inside I am able to carry a small db cosmetic bag and wallet, plus my checkbook, calendar and sunglass case.,..with all that, I am still able to toss it into my briefcase and/or swim bag, along with the long strap that easily adjusts to a smaller length, it is perfect for me.
