The company has expanded to include footwear for men and women, leatherwear for men and women, handbags, and belts. I love Donald J Pliner because his shoes are beautiful and comfortable. I like to wear heels sometimes and can wear these for many hours because the heel is not too high. I have several pairs with the same heel height.

I have worn Donald Pliner shoes for years and they used to be one of my favorite brands. Some say made in Spain and other say made in Italy. This particular pair is made in China and the quality is a remarkable step down from the previous ones. These shoes have rough edges on the interior which make it uncomfortable to wear with bare feet. Donald Pliner needs to go back to his previous quality if I'm going to remain a customer.

I've owned many Donald Pliner shoes over the years and have been a customer of Zappos for some time but this shoe makes me wonder if Zappos is pushing out seconds. On this particular shoe, the trim around the top is seamed at a pressure point on the side of the heel. As a result, it will not only hurt but tear a hole in your hosiery. Too bad, it's a classic pump style with a comfortable heel height.

The shoe I was sent was not as pictured, it had a round not pointed toe.

I have been the biggest fan of Donald J Pliner shoes since I discovered them in a very fancy shoe store at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas in 2005. Then I discovered Zappos and continued my tradition. I got my ViP status from Zappos because of Donald J Pliner, mostly wearing his sandals and high heel sandals. It felt so great to wear my favorite, shoes made in Italy! Italian leather and great style. Gone are those days now. I'm returning these little suede pumps because they are made in China. I had to call Zappos to research where they were imported from. Sad, very sad. Mr Pliner, you could at least be honest and tell is where your shoes are imported from on the shoe and in the advertising. This price for shoes made in China? I don't think so. So sorry, Mr. Pliner...you lost me.
I'd also recommend: I have to find a new one.
