I love these short because the leg opening is not too wide. I hate shorts that look like tents around the knees. However, the front and back pockets have velcro on the flaps and they don't stay closed. The velcro strips are too small. Buttons or snaps would have been better than velcro.

Soft cotton material. Large cargo side pockets, fits 32oz Nalgene no problem. My iPod touch 4g disappears in the front pockets. So does my Nokia e phone in the back pocket. Wish there was a coin point. Fit: Not too relaxed or baggy, which I like. The picture above is accurate in form fitting but not skinny, tight. Above my knees. I like it a lot. Negatives: velcro securing the closure flaps on the pockets are weak sauce. Might lose your wallet if in the back pocket and moving a lot. Would have preferred button closure or stronger velcro. I bought it on sale.

I bought these for my son and they are great for a slim-fit body. They are a nice lightweight fabric and wash up well. The colors are muted, even the red one. Very nice.

I bought 2. One ripped already, but that is not the main problem. The main problem is, the back pocket is not deep enough and the flap is not strong enough to keep your wallet from falling out. So, if you carry a wallet in a back pocket, this short is not for you, unless of course, you enjoy losing your wallet.
Brands I'd also recommend: Wolverine

Style is nice, but as others have mentioned the back pockets are awful. If they're going to be cheap and use velcro fine, but at least use a big enough piece that actually lines up with the other side! The back pockets not only never stays closed, even worse they always flap up, making me the "butt" of all jokes! A shame, because these shorts could be perfect.

I received these shorts in excellent order. They fit a bit loose so I must have lost a few more pounds. (Yeah!) The colors on the website were very representative of the actual colors of the shorts. Just as hoped they'd be. Good service, easy website and an all around good experience! I will be back!
