I ordered these after a long time of wearing D3 (classic fit) khakis. Since I’m pretty thin, D2 khakis are a better-looking fit for me, and they are no less comfortable! Two things to keep in mind, though. First, they do sit a little lower on the waist, so if you are tall (like me), it’s easy for your shirts to come untucked. Second, it’s probably a good idea to try on the pants in a store because the waist sizes are a little tighter than the D3. I wear a 33 waist D3, but for the D2, a 34 waist fits just fine.

I have been disappointed by recent orders of clothing from Zappos. While Zappos is the distributor of goods manufactured by other companies, there is no excuse for inspecting the garment thoroughly before sending it to the customer. Accordingly, items not checked properly before shipping probably results in a high return rate for goods at Zappos expense and you would think they would value the customer and their own bottom line better by making sure only first rate goods are sent to customers. In particular, my recent order of two pairs of Docker's D2 straight fit flat front khakis had the following results----One pair was fine, looks good, properly made and a good value, the other pair of branch color khakis had the following flaws: The size marked on the goods was what I ordered but they did not fit in the waist and they were miss labeled. The other issue was the belt loops were sewn on crooked and one of the loops had only been sewn 1/2 way across which could easily have come unraveled. These pants were returned to Zappos and instructed not to put them back on the shelf for redistribution (I hope they heeded my suggestion). My advice to each of you is to inspect all goods you order from Zappos thoroughly yourself since this is not being done by Zappos staff and quality control is poor and be sure to return any item that has any flaws regardless of what the cost of the garment is. In this way, Zappos may put some pressure on the manufacturer to do a better job of assembly and inspection and hopefully Zappos staff will attempt to more closely inspect goods from manufacturers whose goods seem to be returned more frequently from customers.

No need to iron these pants! They look great straight out of the dryer. They are lighter in weight and have a very slight shine to them. My husband looks great in them and I would definitely recommend them.

If you could get a patent on comfort these khakis would own it! I spent half the night admiring the fit and the other half wondering if I forgot to put pants on. No binding, no discomfort. In a word they are glorious!

This pair of Docker's Khaki's are wonderful. I had a different pair of older Docker's, and they don't fit nearly as well as this pair. The cream color gives you versatility in looking sharp for a date, business meeting, or even a day at the office. The fit is what really sets this pair apart. The inseam is not too baggy, and the length is just perfect for my height (5'10"). I highly recommend this pair.
