I haven\'t worn my new shoes (size 9 medium width) outdoors yet, but have worn them a bit in my home. I recommend wearing dress socks with these shoes. I tried them with slightly thicker cotton socks and found that the shoes were then too tight and not as comfortable. Also, it seems to me that these shoes require a small amount of time to be broken-in, as opposed to being able to wear them comfortably from the first moment you try them on.

I bought these for my husband. It’s so hard to find business casual shoes that are not overly dressy, but also don’t look like chunky work boots. My husband loves these shoes because they look just right and were very comfortable right out of the box.

Sturdy, comfortable, and stylish -
I wear this shoe as my everyday shoe around the office. I do a good amount of walking, standing, and carrying heavy objects, and this shoe offers good support. The insole keeps my feet in place inside the shoe. It is fairly flexible when walking, and the rubber sole offers good stability. (It is also good in the rain.) My only complaint is that this shoe is quite hot in the summer.

Bought these for my 14-year-old son. He needs dress shoes for drama and band, but he outgrows them so quickly I didn't want to spend too much. He really loves the way these shoes look and fit. He was wearing them today and said, "These shoes are awesome." Pretty high praise from a teenager forced to wear dress shoes!

Good Shoe for the Money -
Very well made shoes and pretty stylin' for Dockers. Not sure if it's my feet or the shoes but got a blister from them rubbing on my heel. Sort of feels like they'll break in so I'll keep them for a bit and see what happens

Overall, these shoes are excellent. They are durable and they look pretty good. There are two issues I encountered - the back of the shoe that sits above your ankle wears your skin for a few days before the shoes get broken in. It was pretty painful, but after 3 or 4 days, they are the most comfortable shoes to wear. My other complaint is really more of a personal pet peeve. I really don't like waxy, hard laces. I wish this shoe had soft laces because they hold better. That was easy enough to fix on my own. But overall, the shoes themselves are excellent and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Dockers Manhattan -
I have not owned a pair of Dockers that weren't fantastic. Great fit/feel/finish/look. Excellent for a dress shoe with a comfortable sole. I have worn Gordens for years, and the Manhattan is a different look with the same dressy benefits. Great price for an attractive dressy shoe.

I can't vouch for their lifespan, but so far these shoes are great!
I bought a black and a brown pair. Similar to another reviewer's experience, the black pair was more immediately comfortable for some reason, but the brown pair is broken in well now and very comfortable.

Good looking shoe- better than photograph really; purchased pair in black for work- I work at a large airport- lots of walking (or running) shoe retains shape, leather doesn't crease like some shoes in it's price range or even in some higher priced brands. Masculine but dresses up an otherwise dull uniform. Gave it four stars in comfort only because it could use a little more padding- but that may be because I am on granite floors all day.

Great shoes so far...
First I would like to say the shoes look great with anything I wear. They look equally well with suit, dress slacks or "Docker's" (hmmm...imagine that). However, I was initially concerned that even though both pairs are supposed to be the same size, the brown pair I ordered felt a little narrower than the black pair. After walking them out for a few days they seem to have loosened up some, but still a tad tight. In fact, the first day I wore them, I could barely stand them for about an hour and then my left foot actually went numb. After slowly walking them out a bit they have loosened up considerably. By contrast, the black pair fit perfectly right out of the box and are one of my most comfortable pair of shoes. Thankfully black goes with anything.

Good solid shoe that takes a good shine.
These shoes have the look of a Navy oxford but with a good bit more comfort. Broke in easily in one day without blisters or torn skin. A nice looking shoe that wears well.

The shoe collar needs breaking in. My heel was rubbed raw. I thought there would be better padding around the collar. It looked like there was from the picture. I would not have bought them had I known about the lack of padding. Not only does this hurt your heel, it also wears out socks.
