There aren't many shoes made in 7 1/2 EEE. These are the first ones I've ever bought by mail; luckily, they fit. They have a well-padded soft insole, and give pretty good support, which a lot of shoes don't have. For the price they're exceptional. I just wish they didn't use those skinny laces that like to untie themselves. I used to wear Maine-made Dexter's (RIP) and this is a good substitute.

This is the 6th pair of Deer Stags Times I have bought, one black and one brown pair in my closet always. Great for work with suit and tie. If you wear orthotics and need wide widths, this shoe is great. The footbed is very cushy and comfy. Size runs true. The only down side is I wear them every workday and I have to replace them every 15-18 months, but the price is extremely reasonable.

I was really pleased with the quality, look, and fit of these shoes. They are roomy, so don't order larger than usual with them. Very good arch support, internal cushioning, and sole. These shoes are one of the best values I've found on Zappos. I've ordered the Deer Stags black wingtips as well, and they were also excellent. This is a good brand.

Good looking, comfortable shoes. Well-made, I expect these to continue to look and feel good for a long time. Dressy, but not ultra-conservative - good for my office job without looking like I'm trying to show up like a high-level executive. Nice less-expensive alternative to Nunn-Bush and Florsheim.

Good value - I wear mine 3-4 days a week. They get scuffed a little, but fit great, and the soles have shown great durability. Excellent weather resistance.

Great shoe - Very comfortable out of box, I wore these shoes to work and twelve hours on my feet later they were still comfortable. No break-in needed.

Husband really liked these. When I first received this pair of shoes that I bought for my husband, I thought they had the appearance of slippers. Plus, I thought they would be too tight since they have a very hefty insole. Turned out they fit him perfectly, and the comfort was great. He doesn’t take them off. Now I'm gonna buy another pair for my Dad!

Great shoes for a Bigfoot - I usually have to buy a 14 because of my large, wide feet, but the 13W fit great right from the box. I needed a casual dress shoe to replace the last pair I left in Scotland after a family funeral. I was looking for something simple, inexpensive and comfortable. My wife searched Zappos, and I picked the Deer Stag based on the reviews, look and price. Ordered on Sunday and shoes arrived on Tuesday. Shoes felt great from the moment I put them on. First full day Ii wore them was at a wedding in San Diego, and they performed fine. No rubbing, no blisters, and unlike the last pair, no squeaking when I walked down a polished floor. Would I buy them again and recommend them? Definitely.

Sharp shoes - Very comfortable right out of the box. Non slip soles and foot bed make walking a pleasure. Look great and are well constructed. Overall, a great pair of shoes. I highly recommend them.

I have these in black and brown. I’ve had two pairs of each. The size is accurate. I could wear these right out of the box. The only problem is they wear out. The heel separates from the upper after about a year of wearing them two to three times a week for the whole year. They are worth what you pay, but wish they would last longer.

VERY HAPPY WITH THIS SHOE - I ordered these for my husband who has a very wide foot and is difficult to "fit". He was happy with the look (he is a middle aged man and doesn't want to wear "old-men" looking shoes to the office). I knew they were winners when I saw that after trying them on, he took them to his closet...ready to wear the next morning to work. He has worn them every day since then. I only wish they were available in a brown also.

Good work shoe - This shoe is providing very good comfort for a shoe that gets a lot of mileage on it while I deliver mail inside a building; I needed one that fits as good as it does, due to my wide feet, also. Hopefully it will be durable and last a while, and so far I'm satisfied with it.

Make me feel like dancin'... These shoes look great and feel better. They seem to run slightly large, but some insoles corrected that easily and now they feel wonderful. The cushioning and support are just about perfect.

Very comfortable shoes - I purchased these shoes hoping for good comfort and what I got was exceptional comfort. These shoes also look great and were at a very affordable price. I wear a size 13 EEE which you can hardly ever find in the store. It is always a gamble when buying something online without trying it on first. I was not at all disappointed. Feedback for Deer Stag's - These were the first items I ever ordered from Zappos and was highly impressed with the shipping service. The first pair of shoes didn't fit and it was so easy to return them and order a new pair. The second pair fit perfectly and I ordered several more pairs.

Couldn't ask for more! I've owned this shoe for about 5 months now. They have exceeded all my expectations. It is extremely comfortable for a dress/casual business shoe and it looks great. I haven't had any problems with the constructions as the other review mentioned. In fact I think these shoes are very well constructed. They are made of a thick, supple leather that is double and triple stitched. Because of the oil brown color they will scuff a bit. I've always been able to run the scuffs out though. A little bit of scuffing gives them some personally too I think. I'm a definite return Deer Stag customer after these.
