The key to using these is not to apply layer after layer to achieve an opaque effect. You should either apply one or two coats over another solid polish...or, if you want to wear the glitter on its own, dab it on thickly, rather than swiping on thin coats as you would a regular polish. If you use the dabbing method, even one coat is enough. Wait for it to dry, then top with a topcoat like Seche Vite.

The polish is pretty and looks great after applying multiple coats. However, it chips very easily and is VERY difficult to remove. I will not buy this product again.

Amazing polish! I do my own gelish gel nails. Put on the gel base up to the top coat to finish. Then I polish the DL sprinkles (very silvery with an ever so slight tinge of blue). On the tips to the middle of my nail bed like a french style. The glitter chunks are easy to use because they load on the brush really consistently and go on exactly where you want them to. Once that is good and dry, I put on another gel top coat and under the light I go. This mani lasted 3 weeks through Christmas on the beach in HI. It is worth every penny! I have a feeling this is not a bottle that will go to my polish collection and sit there for 10 years.
I'd also recommend: OPI Divine Swine is the magenta version of this one. It is also fabulous and easy to control for glitter placement.

Love Deborah Lippmann polish. The Glitter is beautiful. I have lots of compliments. You can wear it alone or put gold or silver base and then the glitter polish. One hint...you have to kind of dab it on instead of long strokes like regular polish. Very easy to do.
I'd also recommend: All the glitters are wonderful. Lots great colors!

Beautiful polish! Application is a bit tricky due to the glitter, but the payoff is worth it.

I absolutely love Some Enchanted Evening! It looks awesome by itself or over different base colors! I love that the glitter is different, fun sizes to give a kind of optical illusion. It stays on great too! I am ordering Ruby Red Slippers, Bad Romance and Today Was a Fairy Tale!
