This shoe has a very narrow toe box for being a medium width shoe. The picture shows it as brown, but when it arrived it was actually so dark it looks like black patent leather. It might as well be black. If you choose this style, I would go a half size larger for the narrower toe.
Brands I'd also recommend: Kid Express, Stride Rite
