Bought this sneakers for my son and he is 100 percent satisfy with them. They are very good looking. Zappos is the best. They delivered this shoes the next day. Great service and a a big selection of shoes.

The DC Spartan Hi WC is a pretty sick shoe. They are a true high top that cover the ankles for great protection, making them great for skating. The vulcanized outsole allows for good board feel as well. DC's run a half size smaller so I would suggest that you order a half size larger than your normal shoe size if you haven't bought DC's before.

The only thing I don't like about these particular shoes, is that in certain light the color takes on a greenish tone (they are supposed to be grey). But other than that I love how these look and how they feel on my feet. Funny, I am not a big sneaker person, so I don't know much about "brands" other than the standard Nike, etc. As it turns out apparently these are pretty popular from the reviews I have been getting. So, not only do these shoes look and feel great, I am getting a lot of "cool points" for having them.
I'd also recommend: apparently I am not qualified to give an educated response to this......lol

My 13 year old got these for Christmas and loves them. He took time to rate this product. He is the only student in his school with them, and students are offering him iPods for them. We gave them the Zappos info because we are totally pleased.

These are pretty cool. Only get compliments. The yellow on the back of the tongue is a bit cheaper than it looks in the picture. Shoes are otherwise pretty flashy. Almost out flash the rest of my clothes. My only problem is an obvious one, but as you can see, the soles are white so if you end up in dirt a lot, they get pretty dirty pretty fast. I have to scrub them down at least once every week or two if I want them stay looking fresh and the dirt usually doesn't like coming off easy. Still, very comfortable. Lots of grip. These are also DC's tho, so remember to get a half size bigger than usual. And if you have wide feet, just lace them up loosely. After two weeks, they were plenty comfortable. The arch took a little long to break in, but it happened eventually.
