Good shoes. I don't have a skateboard, but I always think of DC Shoes as skater shoes. Regardless, they're comfortable and strong. My last pair of DCs survived three years walking around in Maryland, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Florida. They still look pretty good and only ended up with one tear. On the DC Frenzy, there's a semi-flexible, solid piece of plastic where my old ones broke down. They're pretty much the polar opposite of Chucks.
Brands I'd also recommend: Clark's Wallabees

My last 6 pairs of shoes have all been DC shoes and they are all of the quality that you would expect from them, these Frenzy's are no exception. Great fit, lasting quality and very nice style.

First the good. Zappos kicks butt and gets the items to you quickly. This shoe looks amazing and I get compliments on them every time I'm out. The bad. I got the shoe and the tongue is thick, which I don't mind. The problem comes to comfort, the tongue digs into the top of your foot. After about 3 weeks it's getting better. Cushion of the shoe is great, shoe laces are too short.

Awesome shoes! They're tough, comfortable and completely original. I have been a fan of the DC commands for years and can directly relate them with the frenzy. I hope DC will continue to release more shoes of this caliber!

I bought these shoes for my boyfriend and originally I was worried because he is very picky with sneakers. I like all the bells and whistles and I just do not know much about skate shoes. Let me just say, he absolutely loves them. Not only does he love them, but all of his friends he skates with love them too. They especially seem to be impressed with the carbon fiber plate on the outside toe for some reason. Maybe you skaters would understand more than I do. The color is hot and one I have not seen in any stores around here. They look adorable on him and he loves them so much he wears them all the time. Zappos is super helpful (try the online live chat with customer service, It is amazing)! These shoes are really well made and the color is very spot on and identical to the pictures.

Comfortable? Very. Stylish? Impeccably. From top to bottom, this a remarkable shoe. Solidly constructed, and the selection of each material for the trim is just right. This is, without a doubt, one of the best conceived and crafted shoes I've owned in my life. Very hi-tech!

These are the best "kicks", "tennis shoes", "sneakers", or whatever you call them, that I have ever owned. They are so comfortable you forget you have them on. The base is so stable that these make your ankles, hips and knees happy. I am disabled and have a hard time walking. These are the best shoes I have ever worn. I know these are skateboard shoes, I am 50 years old and disabled, but these are wonderful for people of any age and fitness level. 5 stars all the way!
