These shoes have a nice professional look, and the iridescent ridged fabric gives it a bit of pizzaz. I got the gold color, which is more of a bronze color, and the way the light reflects off the fabric gives it a very distinct purple sheen when you look at it from some directions. This does make it less of a neutral shoe, but makes it more interesting also. It is comfortable enough so far. Have not yet tried to wear it all day, though.

Very comfortable shoe, I have problem feet and this shoe is a wearable shoe and is true to width. Great dress shoe for work or even a wedding. Good value. Wide, attractive shoes are hard to find. This is a keeper!

Hello gorgeous! Beautiful shoe and the gold has a violet undertone that gets darker depending on the clothes worn with it. Fits my narrow heel perfectly, and the heel itself is a bit thicker than most dress heels, so it has some stability.

These are beautiful shoes! Alas, I do not think my review will be helpful for a younger woman who does not have foot problems because I cannot give an opinion on the usual concerns. If you continue reading this review, you will see why. Suffice to say these are beautiful, well made shoe and I love them. If you have normal feet, you can stop reading now. For those with foot problems similar to mine, you may find the rest helpful. I have a serious bunion on one foot, less serious on the other and it seems that most of the shoes today have a vamp cut so that it cuts right on the bunion making it almost impossible to put them on, much less walk in them. Since I thought I ought to wear something other than my Adidas flip-flops to my daughter's wedding, I had to solve this problem. One of the things I learned is that at my age of 65 I really needed to be wearing shoes at least one size larger than I had been buying for years. Especially when the front of the shoe squeezes your toes together like the shoes of the 50's and 60's which probably caused the ruination of my feet to begin with! I ended up buying 1½ size larger, in wide width. This did the trick! This solution would definitely not work with a pump so the sling back was necessary or else I would be walking out of the shoe with every step. It would be almost impossible to find the right shoe in wider widths in the stores, so I am a confirmed Zappos customer because of the ability to find such a wide selection of attractive styles in wide width.

These heels are sexy, gorgeous and can be dressed up or down. I think they will look great with jeans as well as a dressy dress.

Loved these shoes! I have a hard time finding well fitting shoes in a size 10N, and these were comfortable and elegant. They blended nicely with my gown, and I danced all night in them at a lively wedding.

Classic, elegant shoe purchased to wear on a cruise for formal night. I have a long, very narrow foot. This shoe was long enough, narrow enough and did not pinch my toes at all. This is my first try of the David Tate brand and I'll consider the brand again.

Very nice shoe! I wear them to work often. They have a nice basic look that you can dress up or down, depending on your mood! They are comfy but felt slightly narrow. I would still buy them again!

In short -- 6 stars! True to size and width (I wear a 9.5W). Remarkably comfortable for hours of dancing, and heel low enough to avoid a turned ankle. Long answer: I needed a dressy shoe for an all-day summer wedding and reception in LA. I've never worn (nor heard of) David Tate, but I liked that the fabric dressed up the shoe, and the heel seemed like it might be low enough for dancing all night. I must have tried on 15 pairs of shoes (Sorry, Zappos! Love the free shipping!), and this shoe won. True to size, and I ordered the W for my bunions -- true to width. The toe box was long enough for my bunions and deep enough for my very high instep without cutting into my foot. I was worried that without additional cushioning the ball of my foot would be destroyed by a night of nonstop dancing, but No! The next morning, my feet felt great. Love the adjustable strap -- surgery has left me with feet 1/2 size different. If I could get this shoe in any color and any material, I think I would give up my MBT's...and my Weitzmans, and my AGLs, and Sartos.

Very comfortable with adjustable strap and the heel height was flattering but stable. Wore these for son's wedding (long day) and did not take them off for several hours. The fabric is a rich color and catches the light in different ways making them quite versatile.
