This is a cute shoe, but my foot slid forward in it when I walked. I ordered a narrow width, but still it was a bit loose. It also made a farty sound when I walked since my foot was slipping up and down. If you do not have an especially narrow foot, it is a cute and comfortable shoe that would be great for work.

These shoes are even cuter on. The suede is rich and a beautiful chocolate brown. The heel is patent brown like the button, which I didn't notice from the photos. It's hard for me to find wide shoes that are stylish and comfortable, but these are perfect!

For me these are ideal. Cute, comfortable, and versatile. It's true, they make a squeaky noise at first, but after a day of wear, that noise goes away. It's also true that if your foot is within a size range, go with the lower end size. My feet are between a 9 and 9.5 - The 9's were just right for me.

I really wanted to like these very cute shoes. I bought them to go with a green dress of almost exactly the same color, and with which I did not want to wear black shoes or taller heels. I tried this shoe in 3 different sizes, with and without various Dr Scholls inserts, and none of the combinations was comfortable enough to wear for more than a few minutes. So reluctantly, I send them back.

Fantastic shoe. As a senior with wide, aching feet, it is difficult for me to find comfortable, attractive shoes for special occasions. Hooray, here they are. I bought this shoe in two different WW sizes to determine which size was best. I could do that because Zappos doesn't charge for return shipping. Hooray for Zappos. And the shoe price was right. Moderate, but looks classy and expensive.

This shoe is so cute with just the right size heel but it is just too narrow. I have a very wide foot and usually David Tate shoes are perfect - I hate to have to send them back.

I recently purchased the David Tate Payton shoes. They looked just like the picture, are very comfortable and the fit is perfect which is a rarity when you wear a ww shoe. I find it very difficult to find a good fit in most styles. I am very pleased.

I bought these to wear out on New Year's Eve and then got sick and ended up staying home. So I can't speak for how nice they are to wear for a long time. What I can say is they are a very pretty shoe, even with the extra wide width. They were very comfortable when I gave them a short test run around the house

This is my second pair of the black ones: I wore out my first pair. I also had some purple ones that were great. I am very hard to fit and my heel is so narrow I can wear only shoes with a strap. It's difficult to find decent shoes with a strap. I like these a lot and recommend them, especially if you wear a narrow.
