Finally, a knee-high boot that actually fits over my calves! These boots rock! I was skeptical that they would actually work for me because many boots say they are "wide calf" but are still too tight for me to zip fully over my calves. These fit so well with room to spare, and the style seems to be flattering and slimming as well. I also love the heel height - perfect to wear with a skirt or over a pair of slim pants/jeans. Super comfy and roomy, especially in the wide width. I'll definitely be checking other styles from David Tate. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Wow! I actually found sexy, comfortable tall boots in a double wide that fits around my large 17 inch calf! There is room to spare around my calf which actually makes them look smaller. This is the first pair of dressy boots or dressy shoes I have actually been able to order in my true size because they come in a double wide! I haven't worn them out yet, but they are comfy and the heel height is just right! If you have wide feet and a bigger calf, you will Love these boots! I have a new favorite brand. Thanks David Tate!

Love these boots. Have worn them about 4 times for a full workday and they are pretty comfortable and get a lot of complements. I have large calves and these fit snuggly but comfortably.

I love these boots! The height and the width is perfect. I have large 19" calves, and it was really tough to find fashionable boots that would fit me. These fit with a place to spare. They are also very comfortable, maybe a bit more cushioning at the front would be good, but they are perfectly wearable as they are.

Amazing! I love these boots, I received them yesterday and have worn them all day at work. I am buying a similar pair in brown. I usually wear a 9 in heels (because my feet are so wide.) I ordered a 8 WW and they are perfect!!!

I always have problems buying boots because of my muscular 17.5" calves, but these boots fit great. I normally wear size 8, but it was out of stock so I took a chance with 8-1/2WW. Hey, that's what the 1 year return policy is for! The 8-1/2WW has 19-3/4" calf and there's enough room to even tuck in my jeans. And I wore a thicker pair of socks to compensate for the bigger size. I'm hoping that the 8W (17-1/2" calf) or the 8WW (19-3/4" calf) will be available soon so I can order and see if they're a better fit. But I will definitely keep this first pair! And another thing I wanted to add is that I ordered these boots on Monday night and they arrived at my doorstep on Wednesday afternoon, the day before Thanksgiving...with free shipping!

After having to return another brand of boots to this company and after reading another customer's review, I purchased these boots and am completely satisfied. They are great wide-calf boots. You have plenty of breathing space and they are comfortable.

These fit great (I have Fred Flintstone feet that are a size 11 W with large calves, ugh!) and while these are a dream for feet like mine, I wasn't super-digging the slouchy look in this high of a boot (I'd prefer taller, if slouchy). I sent them back, but do consider if you are hard to fit like me.

I thought these would be perfect for my 17" calf but sadly no. I had muffin top. I got them zipped up which was a blessing and they seemed comfortable in the shoe part. Remember to measure your widest part!

Love these boots but unfortunately they are not as wide as they claim to be, I have a 16" calf at the largest point and these barely zip up, I ordered a size 7 WW, but love the look of them that I don't want to return them and hope I can stretch them enough to fit comfortably. Service was awesome, delivered in 5 days.

Really good looking boot, a little long - so if you have short calves like me, it is a little overpowering. I could zip them up but it was a struggle, so alas I am returning them.

I have been on a seemingly lifelong hunt for tall boots that can zip past my 20" calves. I read the reviews and decided to try the 10WW. They fit! The shoe is a bit loose, but I bought the most luxurious gel insoles to make up the difference, and these are now, officially, the most comfortable shoes I wear. And they're soft. I was afraid the material would be rough or obviously polyurethane, but it is supple. For all you ladies out there who have had the same struggle as I have, these are the boot for you! The stacked heel is comfy, and absorbs a lot of heel strike, too. I'm a new devotee and have received nothing but compliments, literally everywhere I wear them.

Love these boots! I have really big calves (15.5") and always had a hard time finding knee high 'leather' boots. The medium width fits perfectly looks great. It would be better if they were real leather.

The boots looked exactly like they do in the pictures - no surprises! I had to order the wides so they would be large enough for my calves, which they are, but I have narrow feet so the foot is too big. I've tried adding gel inserts and thick socks and they're still too big. Other than that I love them.

I have unusually wide calves, and these boots are advertised by the manufacturer as being super wide, capable of fitting my calves. Unfortunately, it wasn't even close. They need to be a fully 5 inches wider, preferably 6 inches to fit my calves. The manufacturer's ads say that they fit calves up to 21-1/2 inches, but it simply isn't true. The Zappos description here is accurate.

I love these boots. I tried on 5 pairs, all at different prices. These boots were the most expense, but I could see why. The cheaper brands were just that: cheap. The quality of these boots is much more height-end than the cheaper dollar range. But,the thing that sold me and convinced me it was worth it to spend more was the comfort. I can wear these for long periods of time comfortably. The only con I would give is the shaft is a bit too wide for me, but that's my problem. I have gigantically wide feet and a regular calf.

Was wondering if I made a mistake buying this style rather than the Nevada style since my calf is very wide. However I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to pull these size 9s right up over my skinny jeans! Love them! Thank you Zappos!

The scrunchy was more than I thought it would be from the photo. Since I already have wider calves, it just made my legs look large.
