I really, really wanted to keep these boots. I have very wide feet and these were great on the width. Unfortunately, they kind of sagged around the back of my ankle and I could tell that wearing them for a while would be uncomfortable. I think to get the width in the foot they presumed that you'd have a wider ankle or something.

It's such a relief to finally have a pair of boots I can wiggle my toes in! These are pretty cute too. I like that the laces work so that you can lace them just how you want and then use the zipper for quick on and off. The leather is a bit thin and cheap looking, but for the price and the comfort of moving toes, I'd buy them again!

I purchased these boots after looking all over for a rough but chic lace up tall boot. I liked the buckle detailing but the main part of the boot (the ridge around the bottom) and how they boots bowed out at the ankles made them less feminine. These boots also needed an insert of some sort to get the foot higher, otherwise my heel would rub against the back. I'm usually a 9.5-10 in boots and I ordered the 9.5, but it would have been too big without an insert. The 9.5 (M) was a good size for my foot length and width.

Whatever you do, do not order a wide width. I am a size 11.5 W, or sometimes a 12 depending on the brand. I went with 11.5 W for this boot and it was really big on me. Width was fine, but it was unusually long and had huge ankles, but normal size calves. Maybe it only does the big ankle thing in wide width, but I don't know. I actually wouldn't recommend this at all, it was cheaply made even for the sale price.
