The mesh makes this a very breathable work shoe, so I can wear this all day long without having to worry about ventilating my feet. My feet are of medium width but I decided to order this shoe in both wide and medium width, as, with such shoes one can never be sure. The medium width fits me perfectly! And, thanks to Zappos, I was able to return the other pair with no problems!

Very pretty shoe, but it seemed small for the size ordered. Nice heel, and the mesh material was comfortable to wear.

I love the style but have been unable to find a size that is comfortable. The wide is too wide and the medium is too narrow. Both widths and sizes 6 1/2 and 7 were very uncomfortable.

I had to find a pair of nice looking shoes for my mom who is heading to my nieces college graduation and has a gorgeous suit. This is always a challenge because mom has a wide foot and honestly walking around a college campus in serious heels would not work for her at the the age of 79, even though she could keep up with the best of them! I thought let me try Zappos and just look for width options and there they were. I ordered 2 different width sizes and one was perfect, one was too big. I sent one back and I was credited immediately. I am all about Zappos, for me, my 25 year old daughter and my mom. I have been raised in a family who has always owned their own business and we keep our clients happy and satisfied. That's just like Zappos.

In all my dealings with Zaopos, I have received excellent help and a kind response. These David Tate shoes are comfortable for people with wide feet because they have a slight give to them to adjust to the foot, and are not too high a heel to make walking in them a challenge

I usually take somewhere between a 7.5 W and an 8 WW. I ordered an 8WW in these shoes and they fit perfectly. When I first received these shoes and tried them on they were comfortable, cute and sophisticated. I wore them with linen pants to my son's Confirmation and they looked just right. I am 55 years old and these shoes were age appropriate as well as cute and flirty. But after about two hours of wearing these shoes they started to hurt - badly. I have had my share of painful shoes and many years ago finally figured out that if shoes hurt just a little bit in the beginning, that would obviously hurt a lot in the end. I didn't see that happening with these shoes though - but it did. Of course I can't return them and have wasted the money. The discomfort of the shoes also caused my legs to hurt in the evening. Too bad - I thought these were going to be my favorite shoes when I first put them on.

Beautiful shoe. Unfortunately, the 10N isn't narrow enough and it doesn't come in a slim. Also, I find that the toe opening cuts uncomfortably into my toes.

The proof of how comfortable a shoe is - is how long can you tolerate wearing it? I wore these to a wedding plus hours of reception, and felt no discomfort whatsodever.

This is one awesome sandal. I am hard to find - long toes with wide foot. I wish they have more colors and patterns in this style. I am shopping with Zappos for a long time - excellent customer service, will keep shopping more.

These shoes looked pretty good in person (Which of course is why I bought them!) but in person look even better! Great great show with lots of compliments in regards to looks and are comfortable too.

I so wanted this shoe to work because it's beautiful--much prettier in person than the picture. Ordered 8M, my true size. Length and width were both fine, but way too tight across the toes-- so tight across the side and top of my big toes that I had deep indentations in my big toes just from trying on the shoe. If I wore these, I would be bleeding after 10 minutes. The peep toe is so attractive, just way too small to accommodate toes. If they had made the peep toe opening just 1/2 inch more generous, shoe would be a winner. Ordering in a wide width would not be the answer because shoe would gap down the sides and probably slip off at the heel strap. My foot needs extra room through the toes but is slim from ball of foot to heel. Guess that's why clogs and slides fit me best for casual wear. But I need a black low-heel dress shoe that does not make me look like my grandmother, rest her soul. Will try another David Tate style, but this Dawn was my fav. If you have skinny toes, buy this oh so pretty style.

These shoes are perfect for someone who wants a dressier shoe without the high heel. I can't do heels anymore, but these shoes keep me from missing them.
