This is an adorable shoe. It fits differently from the Veda. The heel was too loose and instep area a bit too tight, so they are going back. Another pair of Veda for me.

These Dansko sneakers are too fun! I get the support my arches need and I can wear them with my shorts in the summer! That is a plus, plus in my book! And my nine year old thinks they awesome!

I have to respectfully disagree with the other two reviewers. The shoes are cute and very comfortable. At a local shoe store that carries Dansko's, it was recommended that I purchase a size larger than normal. I wear a 10 in other brands and purchase a 42 in Danskos. All of my Dansko have fit and are super comfortable. If they are a teensy bit loose and two pair were, I simply added foam insoles. Needless to say, my feet are in Dansko heaven.

I own these, both in Sand and Orange. As always, Dansko is the most comfortable shoe, best supportive shoe and wear all day shoe without thinking about your feet, other than the cute factor. Reading some of the other reviews, I'd say someone got the wrong size and width and needs to just go up a size or order a wider width of shoe. Dansko shouldn't be tight on the foot and isn't designed to be a snug shoe. Think of it as a relaxed shoe fit, a floating shoe on the foot. I've returned one pair of Dansko, due I ordered the wrong size...my fault. These shoes rock! Order them, you won't regret it. If it helps, I wear a 7 in reg. shoes and sandals. I wear a 38 in Dansko.

I love these shoes. I wear a lot of Danskos for their support (and heel). These are out of a canvas type of material and are much lighter than the leather ones (better for warmer weather). The toe box is perfect for my feet (which are perhaps a bit flat). The strap has a bit of stretch to it which is nice. The only improvement I would suggest is that I would like the heel to be slightly higher.

I agree with the other contributors about the sizing. I went to my independently owned comfort shoe store and they advised me as mentioned above that the "proper fit" for a Dansko is roomy, rocking, floating. I too was educated in purchasing a 41 when I usually wear a 39, and am on computer imagining a true 9 (and vacillate between 8.5 and 9). I have the Veda in a 41 and had to get used to the roomier feel, and now truly agree that they fit me appropriately with the arch falling in the correct spot; Dansko's should never be snug. I just purchased the Valerie, in a 41, black on black and love them.

Super cute in person! I did find them a hair smaller in the toebox in my opinion than the other ones but still very comfortable. I have a bit of a wide foot so someone with a normal width should have not issues at all. I would highly recommend them!

These shoes have got to be the cutest shoes ever and oh so comfortable. Have a few other canvas shoes but I seem to go back to these pair over and over. Look great with jeans, skirts, and crops. Went on a week-end trip and I took these shoes what comfort on my feet never change. Didn't have to break in.

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable, even when I'm on my feet all day. I can wear them with pants and skirts. Wish they came in other colors/patterns with the black sole.

These shoes are very cute. I wanted to like them, but like another reviewer I found that they are tight across the top of my toes. Due to my high arches, I find this to be a problem sometimes with this sort of style. They fit well everywhere else in my normal Dansko size.

Super comfy has a softer footbed than my regular Dankos. Great shoe for the warmer months plus the cute Mary Jane style hides my ugly toes!

Love these shoes. Wore them constantly for 5 days at a music festival, and my feet never hurt. I typically wear an 8 but got these in a 38. Like them so much I'm also getting them in black.

These are adorable! But not too cutesy for a 36 yr old gal. Incredibly comfortable. I haven't been able to find a flat with enough support. These are the perfect neutral (the khaki color) for spring skirts or shorts. I have never bought two of the same pairs of shoes in different colors, but I would love the black/black pair for work. So happy and so worth it! Yay Dansko and Zappos! I never buy my shoes anywhere else.

Absolutely love the look of this shoe, but it is strangely much too narrow across the top - not the toe, but below it along the canvas edge. Have always worn Danskos, this is the only pair that fits that way. Wish I didn't have to return them but even took them to a cobbler who said he couldn't stretch them at that point. The rest of the shoe fit like all my other Danskos.

I love these shoes! They are super comfortable out of the box like all Danskos. While I usually wear the narrows with clogs, I can wear these (regular widths) because of the strap. They will be great with shorts or jeans. White is easy to clean and I treated the canvas to repel stains/dirt. They are worth the price.
