Very cute but really tight across the instep, which is very unlike Dansko - I own many pair of various styles. Was disappointed. Wanted a casual shoe to wear with skirts this spring - if narrow forefoot, this is the shoe for you!

These shoes seem to be sized rather oddly. I first got my regular 38. When I took them out of the box, I thought they looked very small but, when I put them on, they seemed to fit fine if a wee bit snug. After I wore them for about an hour, the area just above my right big toe (where the edge of the scooped part of the Mary Jane) began to hurt &, when I took the shoes off, that area was quite red. I'm sure if I had worn them for much longer, I would have developed a blister. The odd thing is that the left shoe seemed to fit fine - opposite of what I'd expect since my right foot is smaller than my left. I bought 2 pairs of them & tried the 2nd pair on & they seemed to fit the same - too snug in the toe box. I returned them for a size 39 & have had the same experience with them. I have narrow feet & even the 39 was snug in the toe (it seems to be a matter of width more than actual size). It was far too loose everywhere but the toes. I am very disappointed because I usually have such a good fit with Dansko & love these shoes - especially the green flower print. But I need comfy shoes.

I own these, both in Sand and Orange. As always, Dansko is the most comfortable shoe, best supportive shoe and wear all day shoe without thinking about your feet, other than the cute factor. Reading some of the other reviews, I'd say someone got the wrong size and width and needs to just go up a size or order a wider width of shoe. Dansko shouldn't be tight on the foot and isn't designed to be a snug shoe. Think of it as a relaxed shoe fit, a floating shoe on the foot. I've returned one pair of Dansko, due I ordered the wrong size...my fault. These shoes rock! Order them, you won't regret it. If it helps, I wear a 7 in reg. shoes and sandals. I wear a 38 in Dansko.
I'd also recommend: More Dankos shoe!!!

I have to respectfully disagree with the other two reviewers. The shoes are cute and very comfortable. At a local shoe store that carries Dansko's, it was recommended that I purchase a size larger than normal. I wear a 10 in other brands and purchase a 42 in Danskos. All of my Dansko have fit and are super comfortable. If they are a teensy bit loose and two pair were, I simply added foam insoles. Needless to say, my feet are in Dansko heaven.

These shoes have got to be the cutest shoes ever and oh so comfortable. Have a few other canvas shoes but I seem to go back to these pair over and over. Look great with jeans, skirts, and crops. Went on a week-end trip and I took these shoes what comfort on my feet never change. Didn't have to break in.

This is an adorable shoe. It fits differently from the Veda. The heel was too loose and instep area a bit too tight, so they are going back. Another pair of Veda for me.
