- Your heel should be either even with or slightly forward of the back of the clog.
- Toes should not hit the front of the clog.
- Dansko's most traditional open-back style with lightly padded instep collar.
- High quality leather upper follows the natural contours of the foot.
- Oiled Leather is a heavily oiled, matte-finish leather with optimal pliability and moisture resistance. Oiled Nubuck has the same closely napped, silky feel as Nubuck, but with noticeably more oil tanned into the leather. Naturally occurring blemishes are slightly more visible in these tannages and suggest a more rugged appearance. Latigo leather has a smooth, tight grain and semi-gloss to transparent finish.
- Instep collar is generously padded.
- Roomy Thermoplastic toe box provides durable reinforcement and toe protection while allowing toes to move comfortably.
- Vegetable tanned leather lining allows the shoe to mold to the natural shape of the foot.
- Antimicrobial Poliyou® foam in the footbed absorbs and evaporates perspiration for a healthy foot environment.
- Protective Polyethylene heel counter allows the heel to move up and down when walking. Also provides lateral stability and acts as a natural shoe horn.
- PVC inner frame provides stability and reduces torque and pronation.
- Polyurethane outsole provides shock absorption and flexibility, withstands surfaces of extreme heat and cold, and protects feet, legs and back during long hours of standing or walking.
- Rocker bottom propels the foot forward when walking.
- Dansko Stapled clog outsoles are designed to be suitably slip resistant in workplace environments where excesses of vegetable oils and animal fats are present. Slip resistant tests have been carried out by SATRA, the world's leading research and technology organization for the footwear industry.

I love these shoes! I have resisted buying them for years because I thought they were uncomfortable and hard. No way, by far the best shoes, I work in the OR and am on my feet all day. These are the shoes you want!

I love this Dansko Sonja, this is my first time trying this shoe. I had to return my first pair; they ran very small with light pair of socks. My heel went over back. I always wear a 7 1/2- 8. I exchanged this for the 8 1/2- 9 even though I have never worn bigger than a 8. I wear them with thick socks. I put them on today and never took them off all day. No break-in and love the antique brown. Excellent clog and I'm only 5' 3" so they give me some height. Plan on getting the Black also soon. Love them!

These clogs are everything I hoped they would be: quality leather, substantial outersole, comfortable. Because I broke my leg several years ago, I have to be careful that the shoes I wear provide sufficient support. I can wear these for hours without foot or leg discomfort. I look forward to wearing these throughout the fall and winter. They are durable enough to withstand rain and snow. I ordered 1/2 size larger.

The Dansko clogs are in a word - fabulous! This is my second pair. The first pair lasted 10 years. Granted, didn’t wear them everyday, especially in the hot Florida weather, but they looked as good 10 years later as when I bought them. The rubber bottom, sole started to disintegrate like tread on a tire. Probably because there is a lot of cocquina rock where I live and it’s hard on shoes. They are extremely comfortable, stylish, and look good with jeans. I think I paid around the same price as I did 10 years ago. The upfront charge is high, but they last a long time and are timeless! Great buy! P.S. Because of the European sizing, be careful. I’m a 6 1/2-7 and I purchased a 38. They may run a little small.

These shoes are perfect for casual or dressy casual. I originally purchased these shoes in 2004 and they still look great! I recently purchased another pair in the next larger size so I could wear a thick sock with them. So comfortable!

Love my Danko Sonja. Mind are still in great shape but I'm looking to buy another pair. They are comfortable and they fit snug not to mention they make me taller.
Brands I'd also recommend: This is the only brand i recommend albiet I do wear L.L. Bean boots in the winter

The Dansko Sonja is without a doubt, the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I wore mine through many grueling hours of residency. I tried a couple other clogs and these are the best. It is now my go-to-shoe when I am going to be on my feet all day.

I love Dansko clogs! I have a very wide foot and high in-step and struggle to find shoes that fit. These do! I have 3 pairs and wear them almost exclusively, with or without socks. They don't pinch or give me blisters. I can wear them all day and my feet don't ache. I normally wear a size 8 and the size 39 fits perfectly.

Exceedingly comfortable. I put them on and did not take them off until I went to bed. Order a size up - not down. Great for a wider foot. I will find out about arch support later. Now I am happy my toes are able to move around.

I have several pair of Dansko clogs. All are very comfortable and durable (you just can't wear them out!). My latest purchase was in blue pearlized color as I will wear them for running around and they are a perfect combo with my bootcut jeans.
