I have been interested in Danskos for years, but even their "narrow" shoes have always been way too wide for my feet. These are the perfect fit in both length and width. I typically wear a 9 1/2 -10 in US sizing, and a 40.5 - 41 in Euro sizing; I purchased the 41 and they are just right. I wore these all day for the first two days I owned them and they are the kind of shoe where you forget you are even wearing a shoe. Up & down stairs, lots of walking, no problem. Wore them without socks one day and with socks the next; comfortable both ways because of the breathable innersole lining.The first reviewer mentioned that hers were very tight; I am wondering if this is because this style is so much narrower/tapered than a typical Dansko? Which is great for people like me who have been waiting for a fit like this, but probably not so much for people who are used to the fit of the Professional or other Dansko styles. Plus, these are just really nice looking shoes. I've been wearing them with jeans and they're great, but I can't wait for fall weather so I can wear them with skirts and tights as well. As I mentioned, I wear a large size and these do not make my feet look like boats. Very flattering. Two thumbs up from me!

I have always loved Dansko and have always worn a 38. I ordered these in a 38, but had to return them for a 39. I have found the newer style Danskos are shorter. Also, if you have wide feet, these will be tight on you. These barely fit my narrowish feet. Beautiful style and usual Dansko quality.

These shoes are awesome. Very comfortable right from the start. I was a little concerned that the heel was too loose when I first tried them on (I have a narrow foot), but they haven't given me any problems at all. This is a very versatile shoe that looks equally great with jeans or dress pants.

Surprisingly, these Danskos have some break in time. I have worn Danskos for quite a while and rarely dealt with a break in period. I wore these the first week, and my feet felt like I was wearing new shoes. The size was correct, the width was correct. They just needed to adjust to my feet and feel better after just a week.

I'm a flight attendant and on my feet for hours in a day. These Danskos are so comfortable. The fit is true to size. I did get insoles for added cushion, but I can truly wear these shoes all day and my feet feel fine by the time I kick them off in my hotel room. They are not airport friendly, however. You must take them off to go through security. Otherwise, perfect for what I do.

I have tried several different styles of Dansko and want to find a pair to fit my 37 narrow foot, but so far I haven\'t. Cute shoe and comfortable until I walk and they slide up and down on my heel. I have foot pain and am always looking for cute comfy shoes. Birkenstock Bostons and Florida soft footbed are what I wear most of the time. I have found a couple of Naots that are narrow enough. As always Zappos is wonderful!

Fits a size larger than the traditional professional clog but are very comfy and stylish. I really like them for a long day of teaching.

I probably have four or five pairs of Danskos and I always wear size 36 comfortably (size 6.5 US). I ordered this style in size 36 and it was much too tight. So I ordered size 37 and, wah, much too loose! Plus, the soles seem to be a molded plastic rather than the classic rubber and they squeak on my vinyl and hardwood floors. I sent both pairs back. I'm so disappointed.

just put my shoes on this weekend for a business meeting. They are breaking in just fine. However on the second day I had them on, the flap on top got caught while I was in the revolving door and the button popped off. So now I have a buttonless loose flap on a new pair of shoes. Other than this, they are comfortable.

These shoes are very nice looking. I'm debating to send them back. I do have another pair of Dansko shoes that fit perfect, but these seem a bit short or they are just a little bit narrower then my other ones are. So I haven't worn them around the house very much which I'm going to do. Maybe it's just getting used to them and they may give more. I buy 40 my size is 9.5 and I really think if I went up in size they would be too big. I hope I don't have to send them back because I really like the looks of them.

I like them in every way: they have great arch support, look great with jeans, pants, or casual skirts, and they fit nice and snug on my narrow foot. The only problem is that they are too short. I ordinarily order 39 (I'm an 8 1/2), but my toes are right up against the shoe. My advice is to order a size larger than usual, and if your foot is not narrow, these shoes may not be the ones for you.

Great shoe, but be warned that the other reviewers are exactly right - your normal Dansko size will be too snug for comfort. I normally wear a 39 and it was too small, I have to go up to a 40. Keep that in mind when ordering these! Otherwise, the shoe looks great!
