- High quality leather upper follows the natural contours of the foot. Box leather is ideal for the workplace environments with wet, acidic or greasy conditions. It has a smooth, clean finish with the natural irregularities removed. It is the easiest leather to maintain, and can be wiped clean with soap and water.
- Instep collar is generously padded.
- Roomy Thermoplastic toe box provides durable reinforcement and toe protection while allowing toes to move comfortably.
- Nonallergenic vegetable tanned leather sockliner wrapped around synthetic foam absorbs and evaporates perspiration.
- Protective Polyethylene heel counter allows the heel to move up and down when walking. Also provides lateral stability and acts as a natural shoe horn.
- PVC inner frame provides stability and reduces torque and pronation.
- Polyurethane outsole provides shock absorption and flexibility, withstands surfaces of extreme heat and cold, and protects feet, legs and back during long hours of standing or walking.
- Rocker bottom propels the foot forward when walking.

These are gorgeous shoes! Doesn't matter what color scrubs you have on, they match perfectly! The pattern and shine look as good as the day I opened the box.

A gorgeous color! I was a little worried when it was labeled grey- but I took a chance and couldn't be happier. Complement any color of scrubs yet subtle and don't scream "look at me!" The pattern and finish look as good as when I first took them out of the box. Kudos to Dansko!

I love my new Danskos. I felt a little buyer's guilt spending this much on a single pair of shoes, until I wore them for the first time! Not a single regret since. The prism is a fun twist on an otherwise, practical pair of shoes.

Great color will go with everything. Had to return my first pair for size, order normal size - do worry about socks. My normal size gives me plenty of room to wear socks.

I love Danskos in patent leather because rain, slush, and snow just roll right off of them and your feet stay dry. Also, the thick soles help keep your feet warm. This prism patent is subtle until you get it in the sunlight. It is so pretty, it looks like dichroic glass! I love the oil slick finish too but the prism is my favorite.

Holographic shoes! This is a dream come true. A rainbow of colors, stunning. I wear a size 7-7 1/2 and ordered these in size 38 and they fit perfect! You want to be able to fit a pencil between your heel and the back of the shoe. I'm gonna love rockin' these beauties!

I have owned countless pairs of Danskos, but can you believe I've never owned the Dansko Professional? After reading one reviewer's comment that the color, "doesn't scream aloud - look at me..." I thought this was the color I have been looking for. Something different, yet still within the lines of black/dark colors because I often wear black slacks to work. Yet, now the toe of my shoe can stick out with that peep of prismatic color. I love it! When I first tried it on, the shoe appeared to be huge. Problem solved just put on socks and it's a perfect fit! Right out of the box I'm going to sport these to work tomorrow! The support for your soles is worth every penny! Thank you Dansko!

Dansko professional shoes are the best shoes for standing on your feet all day. I can do a 12 hour shift and never once think about my feet. Before I wore Danskos I would literally limp thorough the door every night. Now I have no foot or back pain at all. I have purchased two pair and I love them. I have recommended them on many occasions. I even wear them outside of work as there are so many styles to choose from and they look cute with jeans.

I tried buying Dansko through Zappos but found that though they fit everywhere else, they were too tight across the top of my foot. I was totally discouraged thinking that my feet just weren't meant for these shoes that I'd heard such good things about! Come to find out that every pair of Dansko might fit differently because they are handmade - went to the local shoe store and got a pair that fit in this color. Do not let the picture or video fool you (if you are worried) - these shoes are so cute! I don't think I would have bought them based on the "cross between a mood ring and outer space" description of the color in the video - they are like a grey with flecks of color and absolutely adorable! Now I wish I had been able to buy them via Zappos because I would have saved some money - my next pair will definitely come from my favorite place to shop - Zappos!

I absolutely love my Prism Patents! I Get many compliments on them and the light reflects on them beautifully. They go with so many colors due to the prism and reflections, they were a great choice.

Love Love Love these shoes!!! I wear a size 8 but ordered the size 39 because of comfort. I love the look of these shoes. You can dress them up or down. This is my third pair of Dansko and and it won't be my last.

Ugh, I hate these shoes! I was so disappointed, after reading so many great reviews, to finally receive these shoes and find they are horrible! I can't believe nurses find these comfortable. There is absolutely no arch support in these things. Worse yet, they have absolutely no cushioning so that you feel like your standing on concrete with bare feet. As soon as I put them on the bones in my feet started screaming. Also, on the outside of the foot, there is a large band of leather on the inside of the shoe that presses right on a bone at the side of the foot. Very painful. I bought my size but they seem to be about a size to large. I thought the color was a slate gray with iridescent fleck, as it appears online, but it is much less interesting color leaning toward bland midnight blue with orange- purple fleck. Much less eye catching than I thought they would be. Back they go in exchange for a pair of Fit Flops. I wanted something more professional looking but Fit Flops cushioning makes me forget that I have feet...It's a good thing they've started making shoes other than flip flops.
