- High quality full-grain oiled leather upper follows the natural contours of the foot.
- Instep collar is generously padded.
- Roomy Thermoplastic toe box provides durable reinforcement and toe protection while allowing toes to move comfortably.
- Nonallergenic vegetable tanned leather sockliner wrapped around synthetic foam absorbs and evaporates perspiration.
- Protective Polyethylene heel counter allows the heel to move up and down when walking. Also provides lateral stability and acts as a natural shoe horn.
- PVC inner frame provides stability and reduces torque and pronation.

Absolutely the right pick! I wanted a shoe for casual wear and for "casual Fridays" at work. I ordered this size and the larger size since I am between. I found this size was perfect for dress hose, cotton trouser socks, and even athletic socks. If you anticipate exclusively wearing thick wool socks (not me) then I recommend the next size up. Overall, love the oiled look. Goes great with jeans, dress pants, and even with cable knits hose/dress. Great to wear out of the box, but you may need some time to wear them in to get used to the natural slide and some stiffness in leather/toe box.

An extremely comfortable shoe. Highly recommend for anyone who is on their feet for along period of time. Also great for a short person, you might not need to hem up your pants. Expensive, but will last a lifetime.

I wear a size 8, so I originally ordered size 39 which turned out to be about 1/2 size too large, so I opted to exchange these clogs for size 38, which seem to fit about 1/2 size too small, but kept them in the end hoping they would stretch a bit over time. I think the professional oiled is excellent overall, but find the leather and soles to be a bit harder than expected. They are still comfortable, but I think next time I will order a style that is a little softer with more cushioning in the sole. I was extremely pleased with the Zappos customer service. A new pair was shipped out immediately upon my notifying the live help desk of sizing issues. Zappos seems really committed to customer satisfaction, which really impressed me. Love the free shipping, too! Will definitely shop Zappos again.

The picture is a much brighter red than actual. A little dismayed not to get as bright a red as shown. But I love Dankos.

I love the shoes but the sizing has really been confusing. I am not savvy to European sizes so I have gone by the 11.5 to 12.5 for a 42 but the shoe is too small. This is the second time I have had to return. Free shipping is great, but I NEED MY PROPER FITTING SHOES! Thanks!
