Warm & comfortable & safe heel for little girls - Even though my daughter has a narrow foot, she is comfortable and stable in these. Unlike other clogs she has tried, there were few trips and stumbling from the higher than usual height when she was first wearing these. No complaints of soreness with or without socks. These have the magic of Dansko shoes in a child's version. Impossible to find in Chicagoland area, I was so happy to find these on Zappos. Thank you. My daughter loves them.

Easy cute kids shoe - Your kids will always look good in these clogs. Just slip them on and they look so cute AND they can run around with this sturdy shoe.

Uniform must - This shoe has become part of my daughter's school uniform. She has a narrow heel and is picky about comfort and look. This shoe is a winner!

Make sure you check the sizes!The link to the size conversion chart here is TOTALLY OFF! Check the one on the Dansko website before you order. It's exactly right. My 7 1/2 year old daughter wears a size 1 US, and I got her the Euro size 30 (which is what Dansko recommends) and it fits PERFECTLY. According to the Zappos chart she would wear a 32 and that would be way, way too big. Otherwise, this is her first clog and she loves it.

Adorable, but run small - I wear Dansko clogs almost every day and love them, so when my daughter wanted shoes like mom, I was happy to order them. These are adorable in person (we go the red patent) and are very well made as I would expect from Dansko, but they run small. My daughter wears a 13. We bought the 30 (which is supposed to be a 1) and they were tight with socks. Oh, well. We'll try the 31 next.

Perfect work shoe - I am a cafe owner with a women's shoe size 4. The Dansko Kids Gitte in size 3 was a perfect choice for my busy feet. I am moving from prepping in the kitchen to the dining room greeting guests and this shoe works for both. It is of excellent quality and has a great patent finish that holds up to daily use and still looks great. I would recommend it to anyone on their feet all day or in the food industry.

Comparing Dansko Kids to Dansko Women's shoes;Since I have little feet and Dansko Kids cost less than the Dansko adult versions of this clog, I wanted to try the youth girls size 4 to compare to the women's size 5. Even though they both state they are European size 35 on the bottom, (the kid's version actually says 34 and 35) the Gitte size 4 is significantly wider and longer than the women's size 5 in a similar style. Also, the top of the shoe seems to hit higher up on the foot, which was a bit uncomfortable for me. It is a very different fit for my foot. Perhaps the 3.5 is closer to the 5, I will give it a try. Thank goodness for Zappos wonderful exchange/return policy!
