These are not flats! The heel is actually raised quite a bit more than in other Dansko styles I own. My usual size fits, but toes feel smushed as I walk - even though there is plenty of room between my longest toe and the front of the shoe. I think that is why so many reviewers are finding these an odd fit for Dansko. They are much cuter in person than the photo, but unfortunately also much less comfortable than they look.

Very cute shoe. The problem is, it does not fit right. I read the other reviews and ordered a full size bigger than the other Danskos I have. And the toes still felt as though they were hitting the end - or possibly the top of the shoe. Plus the sole of the shoe is either narrow or not placed correctly on the foot bed. My left foot felt like it was sliding off the sole of the shoe. This made that foot pronate. This is definitely a problem. I am sad, because this is a really cute shoe. It is lighter weight than my other Danskos. The strap across the top of the foot was comfortable. The heel had some slippage, as it typical with Danskos but it still felt secure. The problem is in the toe area - it felt short and uncomfortable. And of course, I can't wear a shoe that makes my ankle turn in and makes me feel unstable. Great style idea that needs better engineering on the park to Dansko.

I absolutely love these shoes! One of the aspects of my job is traveling and participating in tradeshows. After 9 hours of standing on those hard concrete floors, my feet and back always killed me. I was looking for a shoe that would not only be cute with my khakis but also provide support and comfort. These shoes are a God send. They are really cute and have helped my aching feet and back tremendously during those long days at the shows. I would recommend these to anyone! I read on the reviews that they ran small so I bought a full size larger than I usually buy and it was the right choice! I should have ordered a 36, but went with the 37 and this shoe fits perfect!

I like the shoes but my toe hits. They are just a little short. I am not sure about ordering a larger size. I am worried that would be too big. So I am returning them.

I am very disappointed in this shoe. It is lovely in the black suede and just what I was looking for stylewise...but it is a 39, which is supposed to be an 8.5 to 9...and it is very narrow and very short. I have been stretching it for weeks and that has not helped. I can wear them for about 2 hours and then I have to take them off. Kept them too long...it's hard to believe I will need a 40! But I will probably try it and these guys go to a thrift store...where someone who is a true 7.5 will probably love them! Not a keeper because of bad mis-sizing!
