First of all, let me just say that Zappos has done it again. If there is a better online vendor, I have yet to find it. I ordered these on a Sunday night and they were delivered 48 hours later. Zappos is the greatest! Now to the product. Love them! Exactly what I was looking for: A short-to-mid-hi bootie slipper; soft fabric construction; a sole that is substantial enough to be protective of the footbed (but flexible, not clunky) and that would be okay for stepping outside on pavement to pick up the paper; an elastic opening that is wide enough that it doesn't bind around my ankle and shut off circulation or leave an impression and is also wide enough that it is reasonably easy to pull on (I'm realistic enough to know that no bootie will allow you to just step in), but at the same time narrow enough that the boot top doesn't fall down and leave the ankle exposed to the cold; a slipper that shields my ankle a bit from the drafts of a cold winter day (I realize that I am not in Montana, but it does get cold in the winter in N. Texas, too!), but isn't so warm that my feet sweat; a slipper that is washable (though I haven't done this yet the other reviews suggest that this is definitely true of this slipper). In short, I had a pretty exacting list of specifications, and this is the only slipper I saw that looked like it might meet those specs; and much to my joy, these slippers did turn out to be winners! To top it all off, they are kind of cute; I ordered the cheetah pattern, and they are fun and kicky for a conservative woman like me! I did order a half size up, and I am glad I did. I don't like to have to wear socks with slippers, but if it were a really cold day I would definitely have enough room to do that. And, when the slight cushioning in the sole begins to wear too much, I suspect I could add a cushion insert to renew the comfort level. In the meantime, they are just warm enough and just soft enough to work very well for me on my hardwood floors. I am thinking of ordering another pair for the inevitable day when these wear out. Seems like things I love get discontinued all the time. This was Zappos last pair of the cheetah in my size (and thank you, Daniel Green, for making these in a Wide!), so I guess I'll have to choose one of the pastels. Not sure I'll like them as much as I'm not a pastel kind of gal and because another reviewer commented that the cheetah print was a different texture of fabric and I love this fabric. But hey, when you find a good thing...!

I had these in lavender and bought a second pair in leopard print. The leopard print fabric is a shorter nap than the solid color, and feels like soft velour. Both are good. The slippers provide warmth to the ankle, which is a plus. You do have to pull them on (as opposed to just stepping into them), but that's not a big deal. The memory foam soles are thin, but still provide enough cushion for comfort. I like this better than the Acorn slippers, which have a thicker foam sole that allows my foot to slide around. When this happens at the heel, it can cause a slight ankle turning, not good. The thinner soles on these slippers are comfortable. The memory foam provides cushioning, and the thinness prevents the foot from wobbling. If anything, I'd like a version that went a bit more up the leg, for more warmth there.

I love my Daniel Green slippers. They are so comfortable and have a rubber sole so I can wear them outside to get the mail. The shoes are washable too. I\'ve had Daniel Green house shoes before and love the brand. Mine are a pretty soft pink.

I have searched long for slippers that come in narrow, and finally found these. They are great quality, washable, and, most wonderful, they don't come off my feet when I am walking because they fit my narrow feet well. Wonderful product, great price.

Great slippers. They provide a little more warmth than ones lower on the ankle. I find them a bit hard to get on, but then again I've got swollen ankles. They're very soft and comfortable. Too bad I spilled undiluted espresso coffee on them.

While I am anything but a leopard print sort of woman, the only other color options for this product were too light (I live in the high desert; it's not exactly the cleanest place to live). Other than preferring a different color option and the fact that the size seems to run a bit big (fits best with big fluffy socks, not a bad thing in colder weather), these are fine slippers. I have every expectation that they will serve me well for a long time; and they've really perked up my wardrobe!

Great slippers once you get the right size; don't size up! I'm a half size so I sized up on the first pair and they were huge. Sized down on the second pair and they're perfect. I wanted a bootie because I didn't want my ankles hanging out in the cold and I don't like to wear socks with my slippers. These are perfect! I can't stand fleecy or furry linings in my slippers because they make my feet too hot; the lining in these is soft and cozy but not too hot and doesn't make your feet sweat. As far as getting them on: it's really easy if you put your whole foot in the boot part first, and then pull the top up over your heel. The memory foam insole is heavenly. I will probably be ordering more of these.

I love these slippers, they are true to size and width with a light rubber vinyl sole. I ordered the leopard print to make them fun. Being 52, 6 foot tall and wearing a size 12W shoe makes buying shoes at Zappos.com a joy. I have never had so many selections to choose from and their return policy is a life saver. Zappos Rocks!

I just purchased the cheetah print, and purchased the lilac a couple of years ago. The cheetah print is not as thick and, therefore, not as warm as the solids. I assume that's because of the manufacturing printing process required, but I am curious if all the colors are now thinner. Perhaps that's why the cheetah print is labeled 'terry', but it's not what most people thick of as terry cloth, it's still fur-like. Also, both are not what I'd consider a true narrow width. I have very narrow heels and, therefore, the back of the slippers slip, and eventually crush down. As a result, I won't walk around much in these, just plan to use them for lounging with very very thick socks.

Even in California, my feet get chilly and I need slippers. These are soft and comfortable, not too warm. If you have a high arch like me, they are tight to get on your foot, but once on, they are snug and fit well. I love them and would buy more.

Narrow at the ankle, spacious inside, a little saggy at the heel. Most other bootie slippers slide right off my foot, so I really like how these fit. Super-soft plush. A little too warm for summer, but I look forward to wearing them in cold weather.

This is the third pair I have purchased. They are the best slippers I have ever worn. They are warm and keep your feet "toasty" on cold winter days/nights. Thank you Zappos for carrying slippers in narrow. That coupled with your outstanding service and delivery can't be beat. I order all of my shoes from you and can't ever imagine hassling with a shoe store again. (And I live in New York City -- imagine that!) Keep up the great selection and service.

Given all the comments here, I ordered larger than my size. In hindsight, I think my regular size would have been fine, as these are a little loose. However, because of the memory foam on the bottom, they don't flop around on my feet, so it's fine. These are exactly what I was looking for. Something comfortable but not too warm (for summer), mostly for wearing around the house, but I like that they have a rubber sole so I can run to the mailbox if I need to and they're fine. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

I purchased Daniel Green Teresa slippers and they are so comfortable. Their shoes and slippers run about a size smaller than other shoes but they are so, so, comfortable. Plus Zappos gives you 365 days to return and free shipping. They will be hearing from me again!!! Thanks Zappos!!

This is my all time favorite slipper and I have lots of slippers!!! I purchased my first pair two years ago. I loved them so much that I purchased four pair for Christmas gifts and an additional pair for myself. Today I'm ordering my third pair and may have to order an additional pair because I love the new cheetah pattern. I noted that someone posted washing instructions that include hanging them to dry. I've always just thrown mine in the dryer with no negative consequences. It actually fluffs them back up so they look like new!

These are great slippers. I have had several pairs in the past but especially like the animal print pattern. Love the sole which allows me to wear them outside.

Great slippers. I like them because they cover my ankles, which get cold easily and also because they come in "narrow". That is difficult to find!! I would like to see new colors, maybe bright blues, turquoise, yellow.

LOVE these slippers, only ones I wear. Need more colors - I love these slippers, at first I thought they were not as padded, but then I realized they are so comfortable, they wash well, and just hang to dry. They last a long time. I just wish they would get more colors!

Not for wide feet - These are cute slippers and I would recommend them to anyone who has "normal" feet. However, if your feet are wide, or you have swollen feet, these are extremely hard to get on. After several wearings it got easier, but that would depend on just how wide or swollen your feet are. They have SOME warmth to them. Again, enough for the normal foot, but if you have a circulation problem and your feet are always cold, these won't help you much. Despite my problems with them, I gave them 4 stars because, as I said, for someone without these problems they’re really nice.
