I am riding west in NYC - I have a tan pair of these Dan Post Distressed boots that I love to death... only setback… a bit difficult to put on and take off... but the beauty of the product compensated for that.

My new favorite boots - These boots are just as great as they looked in the picture. Really well made, gorgeous leather tooling with a beautiful finish. There's padding inside the footbed that makes these the most comfortable boots I own.

Dan Post off white boots - I am planning to wear these boots on my wedding day in July! (Under a traditional long white dress, not cowboy style...) They are beautiful! Cream, beige, off-white, a little distressed looking. I will need to break them in a little between now and July as they are a little stiff and the heel is a little higher than any of my other boots. They are very unique looking, priced a little higher than I usually would pay for boots, but since they're one of a kind, I decided to splurge a little! I love them!

I saw these in a magazine and thought they were so cute. I'm 47 and love to keep up with the trends, but am conscious about "dressing my age". I fell in love with these boots - I bought them in the creamy color. They are a little stiff so will take a bit of wearing to break them in, but they're very comfortable, and very well made. The initial stiffness is why I gave them 4 starts for comfort. I'm sure they'll soften up. They're adorable with a little cotton summer dress, or worn under jeans. Really worth the price if you're looking for boots. I wear a 7.5 and they fit just perfect. If you want boots, you can't go wrong with these. Really great.

Love these boots. I got the tan/brown. I have a very high arch and have a problem with getting boots on, and then having the arch be too tight. These were hard to get on at first and tight at the arch, but just after an hour they were much better. They break in very fast. These are my most comfortable boots. Beautiful, unique and I love the higher heel! I wish they made more styles with the higher heel. I wear a 7 in shoes, but usually wear a 7.5 in cowboy boots. I got the 7.5 and they fit perfect.

I bought the distressed black color in the El Paso boots. Please do not underestimate the distressed appearance of these boots. The website picture doesn't capture the worn look suitably. That's not to say that I don't like the boots -- I love them. They are understated, and the distressed finish lends a real-cowboy aura. These boots look aggressive and sexy with boot cut jeans while remaining comfortable. Very satisfied customer!

These boots are beautiful! I've worn them four or five times now and OUCH! I bought some inserts for them, but there are still places that rub. It feels like there is a staple or nail in the toe of the left boot that really hurts. Maybe with time they will break in.

Love these boots. They are my first cowboy boots and glad I got them. They are comfortable and true to size. They are a little difficult to pull off.

Although my foot is a little wider, I ordered the size I normally wear in shoes (7). The boots fit well and are comfortable (although not sure if I'd be able to wear thick socks with them). They break in quickly and seem to be made very well. I like that they are very distressed.

At the beginning, I ordered size 8. I waited for about 10 days to get the shipment via standard shipping mode. The package was clean and nice. The boots is as nice as my expectation; a low key pattern and a vintage look. I wear size 7.5 with heels, but I usually order size 8 for boots especially for the pull-on type. However, the size is too big to me. I can put my whole thumb into the boots when I wear it even with a pair of socks, but I was also afraid that the half size smaller will be too tight to me. Therefore, I called the customer service number to get some advice. I called the number at 4PM. The line was picked up very soon. I didn't wait for a long time. The lady is patient and very helpful. She suggested me to get a half size smaller and promised me that she will ship the new pair ASAP. I don't need to return the original pair back right away because they have a 14 days time period for the return. I was happy about her response. This is my first nice impression from Zappos. I thought I might need to wait for few days to get the new pair, but out of my surprise, the shipment arrived on the 2nd day via next day air shipment. I compared both sizes then decided to take the size 7.5. I returned the size 8 the same day I got the replacement. Since the shipment is free for both directions, I didn't pay a dime for this exchange service. Back to the quality of the boots. It is comfortable and stylish. Originally, I thought a cow-boy boots could be hard. But this boots is very feminine. The height is just right for me since I am 5'6" and don't want to wear high heels but still want some cushion. The shaft is not too wide. The shaft height is also nice, so it won't look weird if I wear it during the summer time. I will highly recommend this boots and Zappos' great service!

Oh my gosh. These are the most beautiful boots ever. I don't usually spend this much on my boots, but the splurge was well worth it. Someone comments on them every time I wear them. Even though they have a tall heel (3") they are very comfortable.

For a split second, I thought I was going to have to cut the boot off. These boots are way too narrow. Your feet have to fall below the average width to fit into these. I wear anything from an 8 to an 8.5 w/ an average width. When I was putting these on, they also felt half a size too small. I kind of feel like I should have been wearing a 9.

I wear anything from an eight to an eight and a half. These felt more like a size seven. They were also unbelievably narrow. I thought I was going to have to cut my feet out of them.

I just received this boot and fell in love with it as soon as I opened the box and saw the fantastically rustic color. I wear a medium width, and they fit my foot just fine. When in doubt, order a little bit larger than normal; you can always adjust your socks.

I should haveposted this review back in August when I got these boots, that I love, love, love. I live in these boots, they look so great with boot cut jeans! Anyway, not only are they cool, Zappos turned around and did a next day shipping as a surprise - so I waited a whole 24 hours for these beauties. I own two other pair of Dan Post (black suede) and love those as well. I would not hesitate to buy another pair of Dan Post and pretty much tell anyone who will listen how great they are. Also, the 2½ inch heel really looks good, and is still very comfortable.

I loved these boots, the color is amazing...the distressing is done so well. But, in my size 10, it made my foot look huge, and the price was just too much for me. I ended up going with another Dan Post on sale. If you can afford them, you will love them.

These boots are heavy. I normally wear either an 8 1/2 or a 9 in Dan Post and I too felt like I had to cut my foot out of the 8 1/2s. So I ordered the 9, and they feel a little too loose. I'm going to try a foot pad, but honestly, these are NOT my favorite Dan Posts.

I take a size 8 in a shoe, but size 7 1/2 in the El Paso. I absolutely love this boot. It looks great with skinny jeans, a skirt and regular boot cut jeans. Great for dancing! It does not have an extremely high arch, which is good for me. Zappos is the greatest company to do business with. I am very pleased with them and I would highly recommend doing business with them.
