I love this bag. I have the Vivienne plaid which is much pinker than it appears in the pictures - it's more a magenta and navy blue plaid than a red and black. The bag is roomy without feeling like you're hauling around a piece of luggage. The laptop pocket is a bit too big for my 15" MacBook Pro but I just put the laptop in its own sleeve inside the bag sleeve and it fits perfectly. There's plenty of room to carry other stuff, and the exterior pocket plus the internal pockets make keeping track of computer accessories and personal items easy. The other thing that I really appreciate is that the padded portion of the shoulder strap can fit over the slider - that's exactly where I need it to be, and on other bags that's impossible.

I am in L-O-V-E with this bag!!! I purchased this to use as a carry-on bag for my up and coming trip and I couldn't be more happy. The material is sturdy, a nice flat bottom, the laptop section is super soft and has a wonderful thick padding. There is also plenty of room for some extra clothes, toiletry kit and more.

Perfect bag for a weekender with your laptop or net book. I use it for a daily commuter too but admit it's a little big for that. The straps are big enough and very comfortable for the shoulder carry. The strap is a well-balanced support as a cross-body, and the color/pattern is fantastic.

I needed a roomy bag with a padded insert for my laptop (17" Vaio) and not only did I get that but it's cute too! The padded shoulder strap is really great for those times when I have heavy books and my laptop. This also works as a good carry-on - has room for a change of clothes, cosmetics bag, and laptop. Love it!

I use this bag for school. It was not originally my first choice, but it has worked great for carrying all of my books, laptop, and snacks throughout the day. I'm not a fan of the length, but that's really my only issue. I also use it as a weekend bag when we go away. It works great to pack a few days worth of necessities.

I'm an interior design grad student and I always need a thousand things for school. This bag is great since it's a flat bottom so it's not always falling over. Very easy to pack and unpack. I love all the pockets for all my loose things. This is definitely going to be a life saver!

This bag is great! I think it’s a little bigger than what I expected, my new laptop fits perfectly and I feel it’s well protected. It has enough room for other stuff or even a short trip! The long strap is pretty comfy. I gave it 4 stars for comfort because I think it’s a little bit too big, but the bag its gorgeous and finally found a bag that doesn't look like the typical awful, serious laptop bag, love it!

This is the most perfect bag I've ever owned. I can fit my computer, books, pens, voice recorder, flip, digital camera, date book, etc. etc. etc. I can fit everything in this bag. Beyond carrying everything, I get a lot of compliments on my bag.

I absolutely love this bag. I've looked for an attractive but comfortable laptop bag for a while and this is it. I carry this to work, it holds my 15 inch Macbook Pro, everything I'd usually put in my handbag, and on gym days I can even fit my little gym bag in there - it's perfect! The strap is very supportive, better than any other dedicated laptop bag I've used.

I am a graduate student and I was looking for a bag to hold my laptop, two textbooks, a binder, a water bottle, calculator, pens, etc. This bag holds it all and it's nice to have the option to carry it on the long strap. I tried the Dakine Marlene bag, but I could only fit my laptop, one book, and even getting the binder in it was pushing it. The houndsooth pattern is not really loud which is nice. This would be too big for an every day bag, but if you're looking for a school bag or an overnight bag, it's perfect.

I love, love, love this bag. Was tired of carrying a boring briefcase and this totally fits the not boring bill. Perfect size for lap top, files and everything else. Shoulder strap is extremely comfortable and lightweight when empty. Highly recommend.

This bag was perfect! It fit my 17 inch laptop and had plenty of room for everything else I needed for my business trip. This bag is big, but if you have a large laptop and a need to tote around other stuff, it's perfect!

I love this bag. It fits my 17" laptop perfectly. It has a lot of storage and very comfortable to carry. I loved the handles and the strap if I need it. The color and design are great. I would buy this bag again. I love buying things from Zappos, they really give you an excellent description of the product and I love the close-up pictures and video to help you see it up close and when an individual shows it off. This helps you get an idea how big/small the bag is and how it looks. The shipment was very fast.

Love this bag! My 17" laptop fits in it with tons of room to spare. The fabric looks like it will hold up well. There is one large zippered pocket on the outside and three smaller ones on the inside. The interior has a cushioned partition in the middle and the exterior part of the bag on the laptop side has a felt liner to protect your equipment. Exactly what I was looking for!

I am crazy about this bag! I use it not only for my laptop and church teaching items, but for whatever I need to carry. The wide bottom stands up by itself and the handles are heavy and substantial. Can't go wrong with the Dakine Liberty.
