I was looking for something to wear underneath my cycling pants that provided some support and had a compression feel. These CW-X briefs do neither. The fabric is so thin it does not provide the compression feel. Being so thin it did not provide much in the way of support either. There is no elastic in the legs to keep them pulled down. And the "access" slot in the front just gets in the way. This type of brief does not really need an access slot. I much prefer the Under Armour brand, much heavier duty fabric and they stay in place, not to mention less expensive. Save your money on this item unless you just want underwear for light weight activities.
