CW-X Reviews
I have two pairs of CW-X tights. Both pairs will not stay snug on my waist during runs and xc skiing. They end up riding low and I have had chafing problems due to this. It could be my small backside since CW-X typically gets great reviews. For the price, I would expect more from CW-X. I bought a pair of Salomon windstopper tights which fit perfectly. I will not buy a pair of CW-X again.
I wear these for biking and jogging. I ordered a small and they fit perfectly. I am 5'4" and have a 29" waist and 37" hips. They are not as difficult to put on as the full-length version and they are comfortable.
I'm a 5'1” and a 110lbs. and I bought these pants in XS and they fit perfectly. This pant gives a lot of knee support and even if it's a little difficult to put them on because being very tight, once on they feel unbelievably comfortable.
I had a thinner pair of these tights that I liked very much but was looking for something warmer for skiing. I like the new Insulator tights even more because they are heavier, providing even better support and they are warmer without being hot. When I received them I thought I bought the wrong size. They looked small but stretched to a perfect fit. I would definitely recommend the product as well as Zappos for the place to buy them.
These are so skin tight that the size that I was well within on their sizing chart could barely be pulled on. I went with a larger size and wore them almost all the time over the course of a year. From the super-tightness, I developed a cyst which the doctor confirmed is caused by too tight elastic.

Not worth every penny they cost. Had 2 races over bridges in combat boots, cammies and a 15 pound ruck which thought I would have to DNS because of some hip flexor, TFL and ITB issues... not only did I start, I finished with PRs on these two courses issues and all. Now I refer to them as my secret weapon!

I bought these to use in the winter for jogging, cycling, and skiing. They are warm, comfortable, and provide needed support. These tights are, well, tight, so I consulted the size chart and chose a small since I am in the middle of the height and weight at 5'4 and 125 lbs. Even so, it's a production getting these on. I was pleasantly surprised I didn't have a muffin top due to the compression. Quality is great. They're worth every penny.
The CW compression ventilator tights are excellent. I wear them nearly every day. They are the perfect fit and perfect comfort for my legs. Because they have ventilation holes I stay cooler when exercising (bicycling). They are so much better than Lululemon pants.
These are well worth the retail price. These plus a pair of basic workout shorts worn on top was a perfect setup for 20° and light wind. I prefer cool weather but I am sure that I will be comfortable up to 45° or so. They wrinkle or bunch up behind the knees slightly, which is a little annoying but I do not notice it after awhile. I ordered a small and medium. I could hardly put the small tights on over my feet and ankles, and they sat 1-2" below where they should have been on my waist. Medium fits absolutely perfect. I cannot tell if they help my running at all, but I like to think so.
These tights are a great fit and provide me just the right amount of supports for my thighs and knees. As others have mentioned, since they're not full length, they do bunch up a little below the knees but other than that, couldn't be happier.
As always fantastic customer service from Zappos. Whenever I want to order anything I always first check to see if Zappos carries the item I want before ordering from anyone else. Oh, yes, the CW-X insulator Expert Tight is perfect for my winter runs.
I already own a pair of the Expert CR-X tights, that I have really enjoyed for the last 3-4 years. I ordered these tights, for the compression and how they look. I don't like this tight as much, because it doesn't have a no-chafe seam on the inside (women really need!), and it doesn't fit as snug as the other tight. The material quality is wonderful, though.

I bought these in a medium for my husband. He is 5'10", 170 pounds and these fit him perfectly. He wore them on a 5K run on Christmas Eve and was warm. More importantly, he felt less fatigued and less sore than he usually does after a run.
This garment is worth every penny. I'm not a runner, but an avid walker and they genuinely do a fabulous job in keeping my legs fatigue free. I indulge in a daily 5 mile trex with my dogs. From a fashion point of view, they're quite attractive, though initially a wee bit difficult to get on. After 1st attempt, it's pretty much easy going. Roll them up as you would panty hose and viola you're off and walking/ running. There's no sagging and bagging with these puppies. Wash with Woolite in cold water, gentle cycle and hang to dry. I'm a 5'ter, 98 lbs and the xs, fits perfectly. For taller individuals, the length will of course be more Capri-ish. Absolutely fabulous and functional. Worth every penny and Zappos customer service is outstanding to say the least.

Good insulator tights. I really could not tell the super difference in performance as the other reviewers. Actually, I find them to be quite restricting and don t allow me to move very well.
I got these for my husband and he absolutely loves them. They're a bit pricey, but he says they're very comfortable and fast drying. Zappos was great with their service and delivery (as usual)!
Very nice looking tights that fit very true to size using their sizing chart. However, after trying them on for a bit my knees really hurt, which is the opposite of what these tights are supposed to do. I've never had knee problems (knock on wood) so maybe they provided too much support or something. I'm bummed I have to return them.
They really are great. I'm 6'2 with a 34 inch waist and a large fit me perfectly. The "web" provides more support for your hips and back than your knees, but overall it works very well.
As a previous reviewer wrote, I, too, have moderate lymphedema after a surgery, and a DVT on top of that. My issues with swelling are mostly in the lower abdomen, but sometimes also in the DVT affected leg after a long walk. I am over a month out from the initial event, and the acute swelling is gone. I have compression hose, but they are not as effective for abdominal support. I am ordering my second pair of the PerformiX tights right now. The swelling has markedly been reduced in my abdomen since I have been wearing these tights and my legs are back to normal. Yes, even with normal all day wear, these tights do slip down, and when I take them off, the knees are slightly baggy, but I am more willing to struggle into these in the mornings than the compression hose. They are not hot under long pants, they support the body under the waist incredibly well. I am not a runner, but I walk, and the difference is quite noticeable. For the record, I am 120 pounds and 5'4" and I am happy with the hip and leg compression I get with the size small.
