Not only are these shoes modern and cool looking, much to my surprise they are just about the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

This is only an initial review as I have only had the shoes for one day. Since there is nothing written on the shoes (or much of any Cushe products), I thought I would get some feedback up quickly. I was first struck by how insubstantial the shoes are (five ounces); they are featherlight and the upper canvas is a tad thinner than I expected. I then admired the shoes and found they look every bit as good as the picture, with the only slight difference being that the sole is a darker color red than is pictured. The sole itself is also a material that I have never encountered and it is much less grippy than rubberized outsole; it will be interesting to see how it wears. As far as the fit, I wear a 13 or 13½ in most everything and get wide when I have the option. These were just big enough for me, so I would say they run true to size and width; they certainly do not run wide. The material means these will naturally stretch and I imagine these will be loose fitting in time. The double elastic means they're very easy to get on and off. The insole is not removable. Time will tell how durable these are, though my initial impression is positive overall, I also think they are a tad overpriced for what they are.
