I'd been looking for a completely flat (zero drop) winter boot for awhile. This one is completely flat, which is great for barefoot runners like me who want to maintain form even over the winter. No arch support is a good thing to me! My feet are very strong and have high arches, so I don't want to support them and there is evidence that support weakens your natural muscle support. The sole is a little thick though, but it's reasonably flexible. The upper is warm and very water resistant, which was really important to me since I often encounter wet snow. The only thing I don't like about it is that the lining is synthetic, which is kind of a letdown for the price.

I bought these because I needed a boot that I could walk in throughout the day, that was waterproof, and good looking. I originally wanted an Ugg boot, but I did some research, and most Uggs are outrageously priced, they are not meant for walking in for long periods, and they are not waterproof. This Cushe boot has met all of my expectations. My feet don't hurt after walking in them all day and they are roomy. The only downside is that they don't have the thick real fur lining like Ugg.
