This is a great little food processor for the money. For those of us who already have a regular-sized one and it's really all you need to chop herbs, and other smaller amounts. Basic and uncomplicated.

Love this little processor. Have replaced many of the "cheap" ones because the blade gets dull within 6 months or so. I use for onions, egg salad, salsa and chopping meat to sprinkle just a tad on dog food. Hopefully this one will last longer.

Really good size for small jobs. I got it specifically for making frozen banana custard but the frozen bananas scratched the inside of the bowl, really bad. So, the bowl is not very tough and beware. OK for chopping onions and veggies though.

When the food processor was introduced in 1973, it wasn't known as a food processor; it was commonly referred to as a Cuisinart®. The rest is culinary history. The Cuisinart® food processor made quick and easy work of chopping, dicing, and puréeing ingredients to create healthy, great-tasting meals in restaurants as well as in the home kitchen.

Today, under the stewardship of the Conair® Corporation, Cuisinart® has expanded its kitchenware line to include coffee makers, toasters, programmable slow cookers, hard anodized skillets, ice cream makers, stick blenders and even popcorn makers! And yes, Cuisinart® still produces the best food processors in the industry.

Spend a little more and get a real food processor. I put carrots in and it had a very hard time chopping them to the point they were mush. Motor started smelling like it was burning up.

Shocked that a product from Cuisinart was so disappointing and very inconsistent in chopping carrots and onions, which is why I purchased it. It pureed some parts of the veggies but left huge chunks. Used the blade in both directions to see if I read the directions wrong, but obtained the same result.

It works great and does what I expected of it, however it is difficult to put back together after you clean it. Was trying to be careful but cut myself anyway.
