I'm returning it because the bottom of the pitcher becomes loose after 5 seconds and then leaks. If you stop the machine at that point you can avoid a total disaster by removing the pitcher (still full) and tighter the base of the pitcher again. It is difficult to then remove the base after task is complete because it is so tight. It does do a great job blending including crushing ice.
